2025.01.24 00:49 Turbulent_Repair Finished final round interview - Hiring Manager and VP want to meet again. WHY?
I had 5 interview rounds with a company and finished the final round with their CEO last week. Yesterday I told them I got an offer from another company and needed to make a decision.
Now the hiring manager and a VP both want to meet with me for 1 hour tomorrow in a panel. WHY?? I feel like I'm going in blind. The recruiter said they want to have a "deeper conversation" about me and my "impact within the team" and also my next steps.
I already had a lot of interviews and already met these people, and all other calls were only 30 minutes, so I don't think this is an offer. Are they grilling me? What should I be prepared for?

 | “Whether you’re there or not” this was something the older games focused on a lot, it was in all the marketing and everything. If you came back to the game after a few days away, things progressed without you, like the animals truly had their own lives in the town. Relationships developed, they would get new hobbies, etc. This isn’t true of the newer entries, where it feels like the game is NOT happening unless you’re there. Other than weeds, time stands perfectly still until you’re back. i have a bachelor of science in applied biological sciences and a bachelor of science in psychology, and i’m starting medical school in august. i also did a year of computer science in college before dropping out (to pursue med school), and i still love learning new programming languages and algorithms and using them to create programs and implement them into my own projects. i’m also a polyglot (english, french, german, russian, hebrew, ASL).

When Black Friday rolled around and Lodestar announced a limited run of Terror-Cat, I placed an order. I had never tried it out, so I only got one.
Man, it’s so good for my hair. To me, it’s the best product I’ve ever used.
Now, I’m running low. And because it’s a limited time product, I need to find an alternative.
I’m currently considering either Lodestar Terracotta or Templeton Tonics Odin, but I am open to suggestions!
I know Terror-Cat is based on Terracotta, but from what I’ve read, Terror-Cat provides more hold and more texture.
Texture, hold, and overall style-ability are the most important things for me when I’m picking a hair product.
I have very straight, very fine, and dense (volume) hair. Left to its own, it falls flat and has zero texture because of how straight and fine it is.
I style a textured quiff (that is, with the right product). I do blow dry, so that has helped with overall hold, volume, and structure.
Appreciate any insights!

My least favorite trope has to be the “Baddie and Goodie” trope(technically it’s the Bad Boy, Good Girl trope but I’m pretty sure the trope and fit homosexual and heterosexual pairings). Usually the bad boy/girl of the pairing ends up coming off as toxic and manipulative to their partner and it ends up being romanticized because “they wuv them” which is all too icky to me.
