Hello friends! 👋 New here - possibly too soon, possibly just on time. (No official DOR diagnosis yet.)
32F with a whopping 0.11 AMH…
I currently see an endo for hypothyroidism and she ran this test last week to check in on PCOS. My husband and I have been considering having a second child, endo was recommending loosing a little more weight first and waiting longer, and I’m not sure how this result changes any of that because it’s been crickets from the office since the results were released in the portal 4 days ago.
I had my first born in 2022 after 4-5 months TTC. Uncertain if low AMH was an issue then or not. I am not close to my dad’s side of the family but I have heard my aunts have all gone through early menopause and I know 2 of my cousins on that side have gone through IVF. Could be coincidental, but figured I’d toss that in.
Anyways, I’ve learned a lot from lurking but wanted to ask for advice for someone just starting out on this journey.
Our TTC timeline was either have a kid in the next few months or be happy as a family of 3 because we don’t want too big of an age gap. We really weren’t expecting this so I’m really kicking myself for not thinking about trying soon.
With that in mind, I want to make sure I’m seeing all the right doctors and getting all the right tests done to rule out issues and escalate ASAP. Also extremely worried about early menopause. My cycles have been very off the past 6+ months (21days to 30days - very heavy day 1 and then quickly fading off to nothing - mid cycle spotting for the first time I ever noticed).
I’ll take any words of wisdom yall got 😩

King has been my favorite author since I was a young teen. In the 25 or so years since I started reading his books I’ve eagerly awaited each new book every year. I love both the classics and the newer stuff, although I’m admittedly getting a touch tired of Holly Gibney. I celebrate his entire library, with one glaring exception.
I do not like the dark tower series. Stone me if you will for the blasphemy. I have tried so many times to get into it and cannot get more than a few chapters in. I even tried starting off with the drawing of the three at one point and the wastelands at another. Anything to try and push into it. For whatever reason Roland and his quest just turns me off. It’s a big hole in my reading journey but for whatever reason I just cannot push myself to get through it. Should this be a bucket list item for me? Should I buckle down and force my way through it?

Hi there,
Short time lurker, first time caller. I am technically savvy but certainly a neophyte in this area. I recently set up a dns sinkhole as a fun project after impulse buying a rasperry pi zero 2W.
Unfortunately, AT&T won't let me adjust the dns or dhcp settings on my provided router. Not the end of the world, I just have my phone and desktop pointed to the raspberry pi directly instead of deploying it on the whole network, which is probably wise as I continue to learn and work out the kinks.
But I would like to deploy to the entire network eventually, and I currently see a netgear rax50 nighthawk on woot for $50. Seems like a good deal to me, the specs look pretty good in my uneducated opinion, however, when I looked at the reviews most were extremely positive except for one complaining about alot of bloat and spyware, claiming this thing is pinging home a thousand+ times a day.
I don't love the idea of a router that is constantly talking somewhere, its not out of some concern for privacy, truly I am not interesting enough for anyone to care what I'm doing, but I thought it would be a fun side project to create a dashboard where I can monitor and visualize all the "smart" devices filling the void with nonsense and block it if I want.
I looked at the beginner and what to buy threads and didn't find anything that wasn't dated or too vague to help here. Is the rax50 a good router for $50?
If not, what would you recommend for a small 2 bedroom apartment with 2 phones, 2 laptops, 2 smart tvs, a nest thermostat, gaming consoles, and a gaming pc on it? I just want to fiddle with dns and dhcp and have as little bloatware as possible.
