There were a smattering of articles in October claiming/stating that the MSRP of the 2025 MachE would be significantly lowered from the 2024 MSRP. For example: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a62662063/2025-ford-mustang-mach-e-pricing-revealed/ . Review site entries for the 2025 model list an MSRP for the Premium as $41,990.
Yet when I call the local dealer (Ford of Kirkland, Seattle area) they say they don't yet know what the MSRPs will be--or when the 2025 models will actually arrive.
It seems that there's a potential sweet spot where one can get this new low price on a MachE and still get the $7,500 passed-through rebate on a lease before the new administration kills that EV incentive.
Do any of y'all have any hard intel on this topic? MSRP/list price matters to me, because Washington has an incentive that waives state sales tax for cars with a list price less than $45,000 (tradeins, rebates, dealer incentives don't count).

I was always a fan of the Gen 1 synths because they reminded me of a funny voice and significantly nerfed Terminator T-800, and thus that brought me to make around 40% of all my playthroughs aligned with the Institue (though with heavy modding to add more content). But one thing I saw some others online have said is that they don't really have major long term goals besides survival and continuing research.
Before I delved deep into the lore, I always thought the Institute was very similar to the Enclave from Fo3 (my favorite game when I was a kid) being technocratic, xenophobic, and mostly isolated. When I replayed 3 several years ago, I found out that the Institute exists in 3 in form of that one scientist dude. I wonder where he went in Fo4...and that later made me think if the two factions ever had any collaborations, but thats a topic for another time.
Anyways, the Institute wants to preserve humanity (taken straight from wiki):
"His feelings about the Institute as the future and last hope of humanity are based upon the beliefs he was instilled under their control; he possesses a fear of the surface, having never visited it himself since he was an infant, and he is concerned of the potential threats of the Commonwealth to the Institute.\5]) Ultimately, Shaun wishes to take humanity further underground and away from the radiation, mutant, and danger-infested surface world.\6]) Shaun does not require the rest of the Institute to adhere to his personal beliefs. In contrast to his contempt towards people above, he is not only open to recruitment of talented individuals, but allows them to gain high positions, like with Madison Li."
Shaun is an outlier as he was not born into the Institute and was okay with outsiders like player and Madison Li from Fo3 to join the cause. While he doesn't seem like a chaotic evil asshole, living underground in a reclusive society of scientists isn't especially healthy. While scientists are very smart, being incredibly intelligent doesn't correlated to good social skills and whatnot. The Institute is a minmaxed society so to speak. Shaun looks at the world in the scientific-ish view. He allows synths to go out for his needs but wants to largely keep the Institute away in the shadows, like the Commonwealth is some kind of experiment. At the very least, the Sole Survivor can alter the Institute's ways if he/she joins the faction. But after defeating the Railroad, BoS, and either living with the Minutemen or without them (if you made them or not), is that all the Institute wants to do?
The ultimate goal in the wiki is energy independence, which means no relying on outsiders. What next? If the Institute wins in the battle for the Commonwealth, are they just going to let chaos loose and observe in the dark? I can understand their fear of the outside world (a common phenomenon in literature and sometimes real life when situations change) but I don't think its 100% justified if they can have a powerful enough droid/clone army. Can some medium sized mutie warbands or raider warbands pose such a threat? I feel like they could easily have more peaceful contact with the outside wasteland if they tried, but Shaun and the heads seem to dislike the idea of using their resources to make friends.

Got gamepass and thought I would try 2042, since I haven't played a BF since 5.
What a steaming pile of shit.
The maps are bland, flat and uninteresting, colours washed out trying to mimic the cheap grim warzone look.
Players who are not remotely serious about playing the objective because the game wants to desperately appeal to the COD and Fortnite crowd with it's shallow gameplay. They don't give a shit about Battlefield, though.
Fragmented UI that overwhelms, and pretty much meaningless and purposely made that way to trick people into thinking there's so many modes to play, when most servers are full of BOTS.
Reduced destuctability - Battle 1943 made over 15 years ago had a more destructable environment.
That pathetic excuse they call a ranking and class system, there's no reason or rhyme to it - it's arbitary and signifies NOTHING.
Delist this game. It's embarrassing.
