HELP ME OUT HERE IM GOING CRAZY! My mom and I both share an apple account. Recently we've started not being able to call each other. When I go to call her, it immediately says "call failed" and same when she tries to call me. I thought maybe I needed to change the "calls on other device" settings and I think that worked for a little bit, but now we are having the issue again. Has anyone ever had this issue before??

One of my roommates doesn’t really respect the privacy of my room, she used to just barge in whenever, but now she at least knocks first. But she still just comes in without asking, and if the door is so much as slightly cracked she sees it as an open invitation to come inside. And there’s usually not even a reason? Like she’ll just walk in and look around for a minute without a word and then walk out. She receives and expects full privacy while she’s in her room with the door closed, so I really don’t understand why we don’t get that same courtesy. I usually just turn away from whatever I’m doing and give her a weird look until she leaves, and she might notice and say “oh I’m just looking around” or “oh I’m just being nosey,” (which is… exactly what I already think she’s doing) but she just doesn’t take any hint and I don’t want to make a big deal out of it, but it’s just not very cool of her.
She also walks around the common areas (and yes, my room) in nothing but a towel very frequently, which also just makes me feel really uncomfortable. But yeah, I know the best thing to do is set explicit boundaries but she doesn’t respond to confrontation well and I don’t like confrontation either.

I’m strongly considering a switch from Questrade to Wealthsimple. I’m in Canada, but the majority of my shares in both my RRSP and TFSA (I’ll be moving both) are in US companies, probably 75/25 US/Canada. Biggest positions are RKLB, ASTS, LUNR, MATR, BDI.TO
I understand WS is not so great for currency conversions, but my transfer will be in kind (not buying / selling the stocks) and I don’t trade a massive amount (maybe 5-10 or so trades a month), as I see this as an investment account and not a trading account.
Is there an operational, or cost downside to Wealthsimple? This will be a 7 figure transfer so I don’t want to mess up here. Thanks in advance.
