Considering that this subreddit, Mustafi, is a leading page within Reddit we have to come to an important decision together. Should we ban X (Twitter) from our subreddit.
The question arises from the Nazi salute that Elon Musk did following the inauguration of Donald Trump. This has resulted in subreddits, big and small, banning the app in various ways. With us being one of the bigger subreddits, our position on this matter is crucial.

hey everyone, a recent lurker here.
so i (21F) have been using pads for the entire time i’ve had my period. i’m started to really dislike the way they feel and the way it feels like a hindrance on my daily activities in terms of movement and comfort so i wanted to try a disc out as that seemed like the best option. some research told me the saalt regular was my best option as someone with a generally high cervix, heavy flow and first time disc user.
i was able to get it in last night, the day before my period started and it was super comfortable - didn’t even feel like anything was in there. removing it? to say it was a nightmare is the understatement of the century. i have just ended a 12+ hour battle with the disc in the ER with the help of incredibly invasive tools (forceps + a speculum). i spent three hours trying to remove it last night but the notch was way too slippery, seemed suctioned to my cervix and i couldn’t get it past my pubic bone. having scrolled through the sub and other places i realised i was not alone in this issue. i conceded and went to bed, and woke up and decided to just go to the ER and get it over with. the disc had actually turned around inside of me and was way, WAY up there. that was extremely traumatising to remove.
the nurse threw the disc in the trash and told me to just stick to pads and not put anything up there, but i did also order a hello disc with the extended loop you can pull so i’m inclined to say that the loop will make the removal experience MUCH easier. i’m definitely going to leave the kitty alone for a good while until i’m fully recovered from this experience, but really, really don’t want to give up on discs and i want to give up pads for good - where do i go from here?

Hello and please before anyone yells at me to take her to the vet I’ve tried ! We waited at a vet for 3 hrs and they told us they wouldn’t have time for X-rays so we walked out and we have another appointment tomorrow at a different vet… While we were wating a pit bull mauled a pug in the lobby and all their focus was on those two dogs. Understandably. So back story somebody abandoned this cat probably 3 weeks ago in our apartment complex and we decided to take her in but she sometimes likes to go out for a few hours and comes back. Well yesterday she came home and she can’t put any pressure on her back right leg. we have no idea what happened. She doesn’t seem to be in crazy pain but she definitely doesn’t want to walk on it and won’t let us examine it. There’s no punctures but I can’t tell if there’s any swelling. She’s eating and drinking normally and seems to be normal otherwise… I’m praying is nothing serious but obviously trying to treat it as such. I guess what I’m looking for is someone that’s gone through the same thing ? And have had good out comes. I’m freaking out and after trying to get her help today and it failing miserably I’m so stressed. She’s still sleeping on her back which I feel like she wouldn’t do if it were broken ? Idk. Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated! . Thank you ! Her names is cheddar by the way ♥️

My kid just received a root canal on his baby tooth. He pointed out the tooth that was aching (tooth A), but the dentist said it was the tooth next to it (tooth B). So he did root canal on tooth B. The pain didn't change after the procedure. I was thinking the root canal was done on a wrong tooth. The dentist said maybe both teeth were aching but the root canal was on a correct tooth, because when he opened tooth B, it bled. He said If tooth B was a health tooth, it should look like jelly without bleeding. Can any dentist confirm this is a correct statement? Thank you so much!
