Couple of weeks ago, I made a post about my challenge this year to launch 12 startups in 12 months.

The root of this product idea comes from a problem I faced in one of my other startups (growfol) where I used to be so lost during developing it's features and coding, that I completely used to bypass marketing efforts for days sometimes.
All of a sudden, a sense of guilt would kick in, and I would get back to marketing it on different platforms.
This is why I built this tool, to help me stay of track with marketing efforts and track it alongside.

Look, I know getting on here and whining about it isn’t going to change anything’s. I’m in contact with some local organizations already. I’m going to do what I know I can do. But I can’t help but think I should be doing more. That all of us who oppose the direction our country is heading in should be doing more. All I have been able to think about all day today is that quote floating around right now “if you ever wondered what you would have been doing in N*zi Germany, it’s what you’re doing right now.” And I just freak. Because at this very moment…it’s sitting on my ass. I’m disabled. My mom is disabled. My son is mixed race. I know logically this is a long game but I just have this sense of doom. Like we had the chance to prevent this, to not allow history to repeat and here we are. I try not to hate the people who support this presidency (regime). I try not to hate the people defending Elon but I do. How can you not? I’m in a red state surrounded by Trump sympathizers and I am scared. My best friend is a trans man who is about to welcome a daughter of his own into the world. It’s all just so fucking scary. How are we supposed to stay hopeful when we’re in such a dangerous, precarious position? I’m going to do what I can within the tiny local organizations around me. But what else can I do? To protect myself, my family, and my dear friends?

How can I save dried basil that had bugs? The basil is dried and already grounded, kind of like the ones you put on a shaker. It had tiny bugs that I guess was in the packaging and I didn't really noticed until a few days when I saw the bugs crawling in the tin can. I'm still not sure what the bug could be, I saw that it may be the drugstore bug but the description that says about the antennae doesn't fit it. It was pill shaped, very small but I didn't notice any antennae.
First what I did was to put it a large plate and little by little I drizzled it on a separate saucer to pull out the remaining ones. I saw on the net I should put it in the freezer, so for now it's in the freezer... at least that's for the Drugstore bugs solution, I'm not really sure what these bugs are but I do what I can.
One of my concern was an infestation, if I had brought it and not throw it away, maybe those I wasn't able to pull out would infest our house. (pest control is not really a thing from where I live, it's a deal with it kind of thing) But so far there's none on the other cans and storage that it may infest. So I'd think I'm good with that.
Second, and most important to me rn, is how do I save it since I really don't want to throw it out. Or since I've already removed the bugs, should it be okay to use?
I can't find anything about how to deal with the dried grounded basil ones, just the whole leaf ones so I'm don't really know what to do. If I could still use it or just give up on it.

So about 5 months ago I took my 2014 Jeep Willy’s to a take 5 oil change shop and they forgot to put the fill cap back on. After 2 weeks I noticed a burning smell coming from the vents when AC or Heat (smell goes away once recirculating air button is engaged) is on but the smell is emitted even on the outside. I swear I sprayed and scrubbed everywhere in the engine bay and also replaced the oil fill cap but I still smell it. Took it to the dealer and they think it could be the pc valve or valve cover gaskets? Anyone experience something similar, the smell is still just as strong.

I’m new to playing the market, and the dividend game was something my mind naturally gravitated toward.
I’m curious, for those of you who have seen growth that outperforms the SP500 (that seems to be the bar people in this world use), what’s worked best?
Do you allocate a percentage of your portfolio to dividend capture, and if so, to what frequency? Every day? Every week?
Also; is it more profitable to bounce in and out of ownership with lesser known stocks that offer high yields? Or stick to the “safer bets” that pay out more moderate dividends.
Lastly, thank you all for the info you share here regularly, you don’t know it, but you’re helping me send my kid to college in the future, that’s not hyperbole. Thank you all so much!

Some context, I have been in many different careers. Marketing, construction company owner and a project manager, now in financial brokering. Honestly I used to have the skill and instincts for sales. And I have been great at them. But life happens. I lost my business due to my bad partnership and that really pushed me down. It’s been 3 years and still I am lost after my business. 1 thing that remained, I am a handsome dude and I get hit on constantly and I can basically date or “get girls” very easily without even trying. I’m not trying to boost or be cocky. The reason I bring this up is because that’s also sales or interpersonal skills. It’s still instinct,
what I want to ask is how can I transfer that instinct into my career rather than girls or other vices. I think after losing my business I have just become confused with everything in my life. Hopefully yall don’t report and take this down cause I really need some help.

Our dog was diagnosed with bladder cancer via Cadet Braf test and ultrasound on September 7, 2024. Also appeared to have liver masses and has Cushing's. No more tests done as we were told her TCC is fatal. Bladder tumor is on a small stalk, located very near urethra, so surgery not possible. She has been treated since with pain medication only (Metacam) and has appeared very well. Bright and happy. A bit less energetic but herself. Until tonight. She peed a small amount at about 10 and in the 90 minutes since then has squatted 21 times (over a few outings) without peeing at all. She seems stressed. I am worried.
How long can she go without peeing? Is it safe to wait a while or should take her to the emergency vet?
