I (16f) have a service dog who has allowed me to be able to take walks by myself and enjoy the outdoors again. We walk whenever I feel up to it and often stop at nearby parks or coffee shops as breaks.
For some context, I am really scared of pitbull dogs. I know they can be sweet, but ever since I was bitten by one I like to stay away from them. It may sound like I'm being petty, but I really don't want to pet or be around those dogs anytime soon. Nothing against the owners because most of them listen to me when I tell them that I'm scared.
Me, my dad, and my service dog were out walking when we heard the jingle of a dog's collar. I asked my dad what dog this was (I am visually impaired) and he said he didn't know. We got a few feet away and I realized it was a pit bull. We crossed the street and I thought nothing more of it. I know crossing the road to avoid a dog sounds mean, but I don't want the dog to get excited and jump or bark at me or I accidentally startle the dog. The owner was clearly not happy about this and crossed to the other side with us. He got really mad and said some things about "breed discrimination" and tried to force his dog upon us. By now the dog was jumping up on both my dad and me and my dog was off to the side about a foot away just chilling. The pitbull was kissing my face and clawing at my shirt so much that it hurt, and I had asked the owner to stop the dog multiple times. The dog knocking me over was the last straw. Eventually, I shoved the dog off lightly as not to hurt it and the guy went ballistic. I barely touched the dog and it landed on it's feet and didn't whine or anything. He said he was going to report us for assaulting his dog. There are security cameras near the sidewalk so im not worried. I also have scratches from the dog as evidence. So AITAH? Should I have walked past and hoped for the best? I love dogs even the pit bulls (a little bit) and I dont want to hurt them. I just didn't know any other way to get him off of me because even my dad couldn't get him off

Style Profile-Hwang Hyeyoung I’m going to try to do a series where I post 1st Gen fashion content!
Today will be all about Hwang Hyeyoung from the group Two Two during their promotions for “One and a Half” !
Two Two was a coed group where Hye Young was a guest vocalist for their debut album in 1994.
She became popular for her doll-like appearance and known for having a stone faced expression during their performances as part of her concept. Her resting face is a funny contrast to the upbeat style of the song and her energetic dancing.
As far as 1st gen fashion goes, I feel like Hyeyoung is extremely underrated given the amount of detail put into her outfits. She was a fashion icon for young girls in South Korea during the time but I hardly see her being mentioned these days.
Most of her clothing were brightly colored or had bold patterns . She had a very kitschy style, accessorizing with backpacks that usually featured cute characters like Keropi and Garfield. She also accessorized with stickers on her face or arms, funky hats, different types of hair clips on her iconic bob wigs (The yellow button clips are my favorite), pins (check out her Spirited Away soot sprite pin in her pocket) and various hats.
One notable accessory is the big green hat Hyeyoung sometimes wore. This is pure assumption but TLC debuted 2 years before Two Two and her hat is similar to the one that member Left Eye often wore during their debut promos. I’m guessing TLC was the inspiration behind it.
One cool thing I noticed is that some of the items she wore would be repeated, but styled differently. During Two Two’s 2015 performance on Sugarman, it’s noted that the backpack she was wearing was from over 20 years ago. It makes me wonder if some of the pieces she wore back then were actually part of her own wardrobe.
During some promotions however, she’s seen with a more toned down style by wearing neutral/muted colours and designer reminiscent pieces. Her non eclectic outfits usually consisted of fur coats, bows, pleated skirts and collared sweaters. I’m guessing it was fall-winter by the time these promotions happened so the wardrobe switch up was probably to match the vibe of the season and the weather conditions lol.
What I love about her outfits are how they were very on point with early to mid 90s fashion trends, yet it reminded me a lot of late 90s Japanese street fashion. I think if I made this post 5 years ago, most people would’ve thought her outfits were pretty crazy or too mismatched. But since maximalism and over accessorizing has been trending these days, more people would be able to appreciate it now.

I tried to give the benefit of the doubt on this... I know sometimes I need to play a specific character for an achievement.
But every time we have room for randoms in our team, they both/all insta-lock duelist 90% of the time.
Which wouldn't be a problem, but there is definitely a pattern of us losing a lot more times in a row when both our duelists are randoms. Not blaming randoms or saying we don't suck, but it's a recurring theme.
You need to play all the classes, not just duelist. If you are only to play one character and/or you won't play vanguard or strategist, then you aren't good, period.

Me encontraba en una ciudad con casas tipo tráiler. El cielo estaba completamente cerrado, de un color gris que daba la impresión de ser un domo artificial. No podía ver el infinito del cielo ni los astros como la luna, el sol o las estrellas. Sin embargo, podía notar que en ese cielo artificial había grietas redondas, y a través de ellas se dejaba ver el resplandor de algo más allá. Tal vez era el sol, aunque nunca lo vi directamente.
En mi sueño, estaba acompañado por un amigo, y ambos encontramos bajo la tierra, cerca de los tráilers, piedras preciosas y oro. Entonces pensé que podríamos usar esas riquezas para comprarnos la salida de este mundo artificial, una prisión sin grilletes ni barrotes, pero que carecía de alegría y color. Yo deseaba escapar de ese lugar y descubrir lo que había más allá del domo que nos cubría y que nos mantenía encerrados.
En el sueño, localicé a un “administrador oficial” (no sé exactamente cómo describirlo, pero sabía que él controlaba este mundo artificial). Sabía que, para salir de esta prisión, había que pagarle a él. Al traerlo a nosotros y entregarle las riquezas que habíamos encontrado, logramos que nos diera el permiso para escapar. Sin embargo, mi amigo decidió quedarse atrás; parecía haberse adaptado a este lugar y lo había aceptado como su nuevo hogar.
Yo, en cambio, decidí partir. Dejé todo atrás y me dirigí hacia lo desconocido, buscando descubrir qué había más allá del domo, en ese mundo que solo podía intuir a través de las grietas y los resplandores.

So, I’m a teenager looking to enlist or go through an academy within the next year. Along with that, I have a competition in 6 months, but keep in mind it’s military-style.
The problem I have is that I have no clue where to begin, how to start, and all I know is that people tell me to build good habits but never tell me what the habits I should be building are.
I weighed in today around 151 lbs and I’m 5’6 with a sticky body build and a decent amount of hanging fat that I need to get rid of, so I have a BMI of around 24.4. I want to build myself up for the military; I don’t need to look good, but I want to excel. Could anyone give me some advice on how to start or give me tips on where I could find some beginner-friendly resources?
Again, I don’t want to look good necessarily. I want to compete for a military-style event in 6 months, enter the military in a year, and maintain fitness after that. Any advice at all would be appreciated.
