Hey guys, wondering about Gem City (formerly Evan Skate Land) hours. I know it says their skating session is 7pm to 10pm on Fridays, but do they open the doors any earlier than 7 for people to get their skates and stuff to be ready to start skating at 7? Or can you not get in until 7 on the dot?

I (f) was sitting with my boyfriend recently watching something with him on his phone and he got a Snapchat from a girl I'd never heard of. I asked who it was and he said some girl he didn't know that added him maybe a month prior that thought said she was his cousin. He wasn't obviously. I asked why he was still snapping her and he just responded that they don't talk about really anything, just send snaps back and forth sometimes. I said I thought it was odd because 1. I don't add people I don't know on really any social media and 2. I don't really communicate with other men unless it's my employees or my friends and we're actively making plans or discussing something in the moment. I don't just talk with them all the time. It's also always someone my boyfriend knows too, not a stranger. He didn't understand what was weird to me about it and I just tried to explain that I didn't understand why he wanted to talk to someone on a regular basis that he didn't know, was never going to meet, had no previous relationship/friendship with prior, especially considering it's a female. I want to be very clear: I do not at all think he's cheating or saying or doing anything inappropriate at all. He opened her snap in front of me and it was just a picture of a wall with no words. He just snapped back a picture of his dashboard with no words. He said they have snapped maybe 3 times since she added him and had 1 conversation where she thought he was his cousin. I wholeheartedly believe him, he's a very trusting person and is genuinely not the type of guy to be dishonest or inappropriate regarding our relationship. He's just genuinely a very friendly person, loves talking to people/meeting people and making new friends. He just doesn't understand how I find it inappropriate that he communicates with another girl that, again, he doesn't know at all, on a semi regular basis. He also has other female friends that I'm aware of that he snapchats occasionally and I have no issue with that because they're old friends of his, I understand keeping in touch with friends as I do the same thing. There is also a slight age gap between us, he's 22 and I'm 28, and I think sometimes I just view things like that different. Its not a huge age gap but still I didn't really grow up with Snapchat being a primary means of communication until my senior year of high school and it always seemed a bit childish to mainly talk to people on there but I understand he grew up with it being totally normal. I guess I'm not even mad really, I just want to know if this is crazy that I think that it's weird to keep that communication/relationship going with her?

Hey, new AMD user here, picked up a Sapphire Pulse 7900XT for myself, paired with a Ryzen 5 5600x. It seems to handle most games really well, no stuttering or anything in games like Cyberpunk. But I noticed in Mangohud (Linux Mint user), that I am at 100% GPU usage with only 150w power being drawn. Whats the deal? Isnt the 7900XT supposed to draw 300ish? I am using two separate cables from an 850w Corsair PSU, one of them is a daisy chain cable with only one plugged in, the other is a non daisy chain. When using only the daisy chain plugged into both connectors it also only pulls 150w, same as with 2 separate cords. This is when running FF7 Remake, or Rebirth. Temperatures seem to be low, any idea what i've done wrong?

The script by Jared Rosenberg is at its core a cop story, with the usual elements like corruption within the department and the resulting questions of whom to trust. From there it was given a sprinkling of aviation thrillers like Con Air and Airport 75 as Harris needs to be talked through piloting while dealing with Booth’s attempts at manipulation and the less than courageous Winston’s wavering loyalties.
Most of the rest of the film’s characters are merely voices on the radio, Hasan (Maaz Ali, American Horror Story, Record of Ragnarok) who gives Harris flight instruction and another agent, Van Sant (Leah Remini, The King of Queens, Phineas and Ferb). While both of them have several credits as voice actors, they really aren’t given much to do with their talents.
The three leads fare a bit better, thoughthe plot quickly falls into a routine of a brief burst of action, Booth getting restrained and threatening the other two while Winston makes cowardly comments that I think are supposed to be funny. Booth then manages to get free again, then there’s another burst of action.
It’s all rather predictable, right down to the final moments at the airport. Neither Gibson’s direction nor the cinematography of Johnny Derango (Everyone Is Doing Great, Red Right Hand) managing to convey the claustrophobic, feeling of being trapped in a small plane with a cold-blooded killer. And without that, the tension needed to give this thriller its thrills never materializes.
The CGI generated scenes of the plane in flight are also less than stellar, in one case ruining what should have been a fairly spectacular near crash. I probably should have expected that, since an animated moose in the film’s opening minutes looks about as realistic as an old Bullwinkle cartoon.
In the end, Flight Risk feels more like a Tubi original than something a major studio would send out to the theatres. And Tubi is probably where you’re best off seeing it. It’s not unwatchable, but it really isn’t worth the cost of a trip to the local cinema or the cost of a premium rental.

Found my fiancé's unopened W2 from the 2023 fiscal year. Dunno what to expect or how to get started without being taken for a ride in the process.
Hers has been a bit up and down over the past two years. Started out working for a small doctor's office, which became a branch to a larger company in 2023 and offered a company shares program, into which about 20% of her gross salary went. The company went belly up in 2024 and the company shares ended up being a huge loss. But the doctor my fiancé originally worked for owned her own location/practice/facility. So, while on paper the payments appear to come from a series of employers, it's still the same folks as they ever were.
I'm a basic bitch at filing my returns. I use my software, send in my returns on time, and that's it. I dunno even if the financial loss would matter to the IRS, but it seemed it might be prudent to mention it.
Any guidance, articles, and guides on what to do when trying to file in such a late fashion, as I presume it's still necessary, would be appreciated.

Hi, looking for some advice. I’m 46 still cycling regular (but heavier). I’m on what I would consider a new health and happiness journey. I’ve cut wayyyy back on alcohol, have been eating better and working out and taking better care of my skin. My main problems are 1) being overweight and 2) my mood before my period. Despite trying hard, I still have a belly and I think it has gotten worse in the past few years. I also have been lucky to always have good mental health, but in the last 6 months or so the week before my period I will get really really down on myself. Thinking I’m a failure at work and home, etc. it’s bad- It is not like me. I talked to a MIDI nurse today and she recommended estrogen low dose patch, progesterone oral. She also said once I am ok on the hormones we can add in a GLP-1. My questions are-do you think this will help my mood and potentially kick start my weigh loss? I don’t have night sweats (I did when I was drinking wine but since I stopped the sweats have stopped), and I don’t have any other symptoms of peri that are bothering me yet. I’m just wondering if starting this plan is a good idea. Thanks in advance for the tips!
