Hi everyone. Sorry for the title. Very frustrated. I bought two different iPods on ebay(one new in box for a decent amount of money) and they clearly had non-original parts of lower quality (I.e the hold switch fell into the casing on one and the click wheel had an uneven gap around it on another).
I am trying to build or buy a iPod 5th gen to do a SSD, battery, and maybe Bluetooth update on it.
I’d like to find a white 30gb one (for the thin back) in decent shape, I don’t care about the back. Any leads? Any one got one in a drawer?

Hi all! I was finally able to play my first Silent Hill game with the remake of 2 and I loved it. However, I had some questions regarding contradictions I perceive in Mary’s full letter as it’s read at the end of the game.
"In my restless dreams, I see that town. Silent Hill. You promised me you'd take me there again someday. But you never did. Well, I'm alone there now... In our 'special place'... Waiting for you... Waiting for you to come to see me. But you never do. And so I wait, wrapped in my cocoon of pain and loneliness. I know I've done a terrible thing to you. Something you'll never forgive me for. I wish I could change that, but I can't. I feel so pathetic and ugly laying here, waiting for you... Every day I stare up at the cracks in the ceiling and all I can think about is how unfair it all is... The doctor came today. He told me I could go home for a short stay. It’s not that I'm getting better. It’s just that this may be my last chance... I think you know what I mean... Even so, I'm glad to be coming home. I've missed you terribly. But I'm afraid, James. Okay, so recently I place a basketball bet on a 1st quarter total points at under 57.5… first quarter ended exactly at 57… Second quarter starts and I’m wondering why I don’t have my money in the account so I go to look at my bet history and still see that there’s an active bet.. The bet states 2nd quarter points under 57.t and it goes over.. I DID NOT PLACE THIS BET. I CLEARLY BET ON THE FIRST QUARTER TOTAL POINTS.
Can they just change my bet like that??!?!?!?
There’s no way I would’ve place a bet for the second quarter without watching the first 5 mins of the quarter.. it had happened to me multiple times and usually it’s not for chump change.

I'm a 20 yo virgin dude, never even had a kiss and I'm desperate for both love and sex. It's been eating me up more and more recently, I don't wish anything against girls, I mainly blame myself for this (although I do find it crazy that I'm in the small minority that can't get a girlfriend at all).
That being said, seeing girls, especially attractive ones in person or online legitimately makes me sad and then the thought that they love another dude or have been fucked by another dude pisses me off so bad. Also hearing about other guys having sex, especially hearing how casual it is most of the time is fucking horrible for me, shit destroys my mood completely.
Anyways yeh, I'm not gonna do anything too stupid, I'll usually go hit a depressing gym session, might blast steroids soon aswell, the anger I get gives me urges to do that lol.

This sweet Chihuahua's original foster mom has a very serious family emergency, and had to urgently turn over care to me. The timing is unfortunate because the Chihuahua was spayed today and I had to pick her up as she was recovering from anesthesia. She didn't have her Cone of Shame on yet and before I could react, she had bitten me several times.
She didn't have a leash on either, so I couldn't just set her down for fear she would escape. I just held her and tried to evade the bites.
I should have insisted the foster mom at least put her leash on, but I felt weird telling her what to do when she's been caring for this little dog for so long. I'm sure if the dog wasn't in pain and confused from surgery, this wouldn't have happened.
Anyway, I have 5-7 puncture wounds and a couple of 1/2 inch gashes in my hands. I bled all over my car, the dog carrier, my coat, the foster mom's coat, and the dog's sweater.
I've taken all the precautions and hoping I don't develop an infection. My insurance has a 10k deductible. If you're not in the US, this means that in addition to paying $450 each month for coverage, I also have to pay $10k out of pocket before my insurance will pay anything towards my healthcare. And obviously I don't want the rescue organization to have to pay for medical bills if it can be avoided. I will see a doctor, though, if I seem to have fever.
Just ugh. Hopefully the dog will feel less frightened tomorrow.
