 | Just got this ME Super, first film camera. It worked a few times then when I cocked it, the advance linkage got stuck and the mirror is also stuck mostly up. Nothing happens when I press the shutter release and the advance lever feels like it’s not connected to anything. Not sure how to fix this. Any advice is appreciated. The caption says it all, unfortunately when I was little I never knew the importance of sun screen on your face. During the summer I would lay in the sun until my face felt all nice and tight (now as an adult I want to scream at the thought of this) I never wore sun screen, I started using sun screen in my early 20’s, but I feel like it’s too late. I also have dark circles under my eyes, and I feel like I look so old I’m terrified to see my skin when I’m in my 30’s. Looking for any recommendations on creams!! Thanks :)

Hey legends! I work in a kitchen manufacturing factory in SA I did my apprenticeship here about 5ish years ago and once I finished they only wanted to pay me peanuts so I left. Did about a year and a half for an electrical company who looked after a couple of quarries, then I left there and worked at a college doing general maintenance for 2.5 years. Then I was contacted by my current employer to see if I would be interested in coming back to which I said sure if they wanted to pay better! So I had a meeting with the new manufacturing manager who mostly runs the show during the meeting he asked what rate I would want P/H and i said $45 not trying to “oversell” myself which he happily agreed upon 🫠 so I guess I just want to get a gauge of what you guys are getting paid P/H and if what I do sounds fair for that or If I should ask for more when I come to my 6 months probation I just hit 3 months so more time to prove my worth.
We are a team of 4 our manager (sparky), myself, a fitter and a TA. We do Industrial work, breakdowns, fault finding , installation and decommissioning of CNC machinery and maintenance of machines when they let us and a lot of mechanical work as well as electrical.

So I get a random message from a girl I don’t know stating my ex is a pos. Obviously this intrigues me because of course he is, but also what makes you say that and who are you? So I told her I felt bad if he hurt her too and she starts going on and on about all the messed up things he’s done (very similar to what he did to me) and told me she found my explicit photos/videos in his phone. We broke up a year ago and she’s still “talking” to him and I’m a bit enraged that he let someone else see those photos. Granted I do still have his photos in my phone but would never put myself in the position for someone to go through my phone and potentially see those, nor have I been in another relationship since. If I were to enter a new relationship I would’ve deleted them out of respect for my new partner. I want to confront him. Or should I just ignore the whole event that just happened?

Just got my first GMC ever.. New 1500 SLE back in August. 4495 miles and it began jumping on me this morning. Then wouldn’t get out of first gear. Driving normal now after I turned it off and started it back up but what a bust. Pretty bummed for a brand new truck.

I lost my mum to heart failure last night, i was the one who found her and had to perform cpr to try and save her. she was blue when i got there but still warm. i can’t forget seeing her face while i was crying over her body and breaking her ribs trying to get her to pull through. do you ever forget that or will i only learn how to live with it?
