2025.01.24 05:10 Relative_Driver_7022 AITHA for telling my husband he has to delete X (twitter)?
The title says it all, I (31f) politely asked my husband (33m) to delete the X app. He explained that “he only uses it for Pokémon stuff”. I began to explain my fear in the upcoming years and how using X was actively supporting Elon Musk, even if he didn’t follow him to discuss politics. Silence is compliance has always been a saying I’ve stood behind very heavily. I have a non-binary old sibling, a trans sibling, and I myself identify using she/they pronouns. After crying, and calmly explaining my view and how I really wasn’t sure what I would do if he didn’t delete the app and his account. He began to push back saying that his little account wasn’t going to “support” Elon. I got angry, I raised my voice a little (my son is asleep and we live in a small apartment, so it’s not possible to yell) and just put my foot down. I told him he had until the end of the January to delete the app or I was going to start sleeping in the living room or our son’s room. I told him I wasn’t comfortable sleeping next to someone who was using something that was actively supporting someone who is trying to erase my family and my’s existence. So Reddit, AITHA for standing my ground about my husband deleting his X account?
ETA: my husband is pretty actively involved in the Pokémon TCG online gaming community; a lot of the grids and teams and stats are shared to these few X accounts. I asked him if he knew if they posted the information on discord, or twitch, or some other social media app. He gave me his stupid “I know you’re right so I’m just not going to say anything and wait for you to just talking again” We’ve been together for 10 years; I know how to read him. Which is why this is so frustrating, because I can tell he doesn’t really care that Elon controls X and is pushing right winged propaganda all over it.

2025.01.24 05:10 idhearheaven How to continue my Russian practice?
Last semester, I took a Russian 101 course through my university and I loved it! I'd love to keep learning and get better but I'm unsure where to go from here. I'm very comfortable with the alphabet, I can read in Russian, and I can have very basic conversations (asking for names, occupations, giving directions, describing my family, talking about where I live and the furniture in my home, etc.).
I've been using the Busuu app and doing daily lessons on there but I find that the things I learn aren't sticking as much as when I was doing exercises in the Troika textbook. Are there any other workbooks you would recommend? I only know of the Assimil book but I've read that it increases in difficulty very quickly. I'm also open to any podcasts, cartoons, etc. that would be helpful!

The Final Fight could have been alot faster because The Raptors might have stayed under there control, knowing they would get whooped cause if the jumped one one's back, the other would take it off, and even if Claire got Rexy, unless she Corners then near the lagoon and the Mosasaur grabs one of them, And Rexy knocked the other one in while it's distracted, she is losing that fight. Indoraptor is going to happen one way or another, they are probably gonna kill both if they do try to make it. Or Alternatively, because we know the DNA filler was a type of frog that can change it's gender, and you need 2 to produce, so I bet you can guess where this is going. Like the Rex's in Lost World, the 2 of them Could potentially Reproduce, so litteraly imagine the lost world but Even more Terrifying, but there is the chance they Do what Blue did, making even more Baby Indoms, and hell, the Raptors could do it to. This is the most apocalyptic of all the secnarios. Realistically Owen would run with claire and the raptors along side them to get the rex on one indom, and the Raptors on the other. And try to get them as previously mentioned, pressure them to the Edge of the water for the mosa to grab one, and rexy to knock the other in. I really need anyone that “works” in the fin. Aid off to ACTUALLY do something. I’ve been waiting for my aid for a while now, I haven’t even accepted anything because I’m a transfer student. The hold should have been released by now and I should have been able to get my aid. Books aren’t free for majority of the classes, my homework isn’t free either, transportation isn’t free, PARKING ISNT FREE. Like I really need yall to actually do your job, because this is BS. I don’t have $16k to pay for my attendance at the school, and I don’t want to get dropped. I really don’t understand what the issue is, I’ve called and I’ve emailed. But I found out their email doesn’t even get monitored so no one’s going to reply. They said a week, it’s WAY past a week. This is really irritating. Smhh I don’t understand why it’s so hard for yall to process stuff at a good pace and make sure us student have our resources that we need. It’s crazy we give so much money to the school yet we cannot get customer service from departments.
