Either I might be shadowbanned, or my account is affected because of the ban.
I’ve an editing account, and I usually get around 10-20k likes(it’s a pretty big acc), now I cap around 2k likes.
I have previously been connecting with NordVPN to the US for ~3 months. And I never switched my accounts country over, so it still says it’s based in my country. But now I keep on caping at way lower numbers compared to before the ban. Should I keep on trying with the US, or give up on the US connection and start using UK instead? Or could it get even worse?
Any advice?

As I make this post, I am currently 24 years old. The season aired when I was 12. when I watch this season from a different lens, so much is apparent to me now. Back then, I was younger and most of the things I didn’t find abnormal; except for the Janelle situation, but overall, I looked at these women as being GROWN adults.
Looking at their ages when they are introduced, most of these girls were only 21 and 22 years old. I heavily depended on my mom at that age. Hell, I still need help from her at times. I can’t even imagine what I would do; being on national TV, the center of attention, at that age. I was already making questionable decisions at 21 unaired. 💀
Although they do have a moral compass and some things that they did were indeed fucked up, they were young and old enough at the same time. Around 17/18 is normally when people graduate high school.
Some of these girls were only out of high school 2-3 years when they were on this season. I can see why these girls went batshit the way they did.

Things have been a bit rough lately. While my irl day-to-day isn’t so bad, I’ve been feeling pretty lonely now and then.
Sometimes I get these weird moments where the world just feels... off, like something’s slightly out of place. It can lead to anxiety attacks (rarely panic attacks, thankfully), but even when it passes, there’s this lingering sense that I’m missing something.
I’ve been filling the time with games (Cyberpunk, Witcher, Hitman, Portal... the list is long), books (sci-fi, thrillers, Stephen King fan here, plus self-improvement reads), movies (comic book stuff, thrillers, action), and shows (The Boys, Midnight Mass, Scavengers Reign). All of that helps, but I still feel a little disconnected, like there’s an unseen shift I can’t quite name.
One of the best ways I’ve found to handle these feelings is just talking to someone. As an introvert, chatting online is my go-to, and I’ve met some amazing people here before.

Ik zit momenteel echt met een probleem waar ik niet goed mee weet om te gaan. De recente inauguratie van Trump en het hele debat rondom de nazi-groet die Elon Musk heeft gemaakt, hebben mij mentaal behoorlijk aangetast. Ik voel me overweldigd en gestrest door alles wat er gaande is. Het raakt me diep, en ik kan de situatie gewoon niet uit mijn hoofd krijgen.
Het heeft er zelfs toe geleid dat ik me ziek heb moeten melden van mijn werk, omdat ik niet in staat ben om me normaal te concentreren of productief te zijn. De afgelopen paar dagen heb ik regelmatig paniekaanvallen, wat me nog verder verlamt. Ik voel me machteloos en in de war over wat ik kan doen om hiermee om te gaan.
Zijn er mensen hier die soortgelijke gevoelens hebben ervaren of die advies hebben over hoe ik hiermee om kan gaan? Ik wil niet dat dit mijn dagelijks leven blijft beïnvloeden, maar ik weet niet echt waar ik moet beginnen.

I’ve heard so many amazing things about this series, and I’m even more eager to dive in because I’m buddy-reading it with a friend from school who’s also a huge fan of sci-fi fantasy. It’s always fun to share those “OMG” moments with ppl online and irl
On another note, I’m looking for background music suggestions to pair with the book as I read. When I read the ACOTAR series, I had the instrumentals of “ONE” by Metallica and “Going Quietly” by Ezekiel on loop, and it completely elevated the experience. Adding that cinematic, dramatic touch to the big moments made it feel so immersive. Months later, when I listen to those songs, I still get this indescribable, nostalgic rush thinking back on the story. It’s def one of my favorite ways to make reading more special
