Hi any advice is appreciated, me and my significant other (lesbian couple) are not married and have conceived via home insemination. I'm wondering since we know she cannot sign the birth certificate due to ohios rules on non married same sex couples. I was wondering if I can choose any last name (preferably hers) even though no one else is going to be on the birth certificate. Can I chose any last name or does it have to be my own. Located in Northeast Ohio.

Experience an error or the game freezes and they had just traveled and arrived at a different lot, if you just shut off the game without saving do you lose all your progress since last time you saved?
Because when a console player shuts off game without saving after aging up, a birth, death, traveling, it auto saves (which sucks when your sim just died and you tried to save it but the game autosaved it and instead of opening the list of saves you just hit resume and there Is where the autosaved game is)
Spent months playing a household without saving because I didn't have room for a new slot, I traveled before shutting it off and when I reloaded I either started before I traveled or just right after. One time the whole family traveled and I shut it off, when I resumed half the family was at home and the rest was at the vacation rental lol
Also saw a streamer who were building and went to manage World, when they access the lot they built on the house was gone, they said they didn't save. But when console players build a house and goes to manage world the build gets saved so it's still there even after the game had been turned off on purpose or a forced shut off. You have to go to manage world for it to work, it doesn't auto save while you are building
Is this correct for pc gamers? Because honestly, it would almost be a good trade off, no cc or mods but at least it auto saves a lot lol
One thing I don't get with console, we have the option to cheat friendship with the rabbits can't recall if it's like that with sheep or goats, but anyway we can debug the friendship and set it to high or low, but we can't do that with cats and dogs, like come one you managed to make it possible with the rabbits so would it be that hard to apply it to cats and dogs too? Like it's manageable to get a high friendship bar but with more than one pet, it's a drag unless you want to spend ages on it by doing a bit here and there. Managed it in two days but it was basically all my sim did, and that was only one sim and one cat, it's gonna take forever for everyone to have a decent friendship. The cat hisses at most of them because either low friendship bar or it's just cat being cat

I need someone to yell at me, please. I just tried driving past his house to see. I don’t know what I wanted to see. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I saw him out there. It would not have been a good look this no contact feels like Addiction withdrawal and I don’t know how to deal but thankfully he wasn’t there, but I legitimately feel like a crazy person. I hate feeling this way.

I've noticed that when I want to use one of the features that requires pressing value while holding a parameter button, I get some unexpected behavior. Often I will accidentally switch to a different track when I try to either fast adjust a value (hold in value while turning knob to adjust parameter) or try to "quick jump" between values (click in knob while adjusting a parameter). I've noticed that if I quickly try to do one of these things after starting to hold the button, I will very often switch tracks. However, if I wait a bit (to be safe I generally wait until the full parameter name is displayed) after holding the button for the parameter I want, and then do one of the above operations, it consistently behaves as expected.
Is this expected behavior? It has a totally reasonable workaround, but when I am doing sound design, I am often trying to quickly adjust things, and unexpectedly switching tracks can be annoying. It seems like there is some debouncing that "prefers" track switching over the above operations in the milliseconds after starting to hold a track button, when pressing value.

In S2E2, everyone else is fired, and there is a huge emphasis put on making sure Mark S. comes back.
But it almost seems, comparatively, Mark S is the saddest of the whole group. Isn’t that how they sort the numbers?
Remember in the S2E1 when there was that very quick glimpse of Gemma with the numbers on the screen? What if what Mark S. sees when sorting numbers is something to do with Gemma? Like they can’t separate the grief the human body feels. It makes innie Mark sad (to sort the numbers better than the others), but innie Mark doesn’t know why because he only knows the sadness exists but not the why?
They want HIM to finish Cold Harbor. Maybe the reason it’s all about him is because his grief allows him to complete their task better.
What if Mark S’s sadness is what’s fueling Gemma, and operation Cold Harbor is Lumon bringing people back from the dead and creating a whole workforce that is solely there’s. No connection to an outie. Because the families don’t even know their loved one is back.
I don’t know if this theory is important, or just obvious to everyone else and just clicked for me lol But I would love to hear if anyone had more to add to this!
