Hi, I am arriving in Paris at about 7.10 am (sometime in July). I intend to travel straight to Lyon first before returning to Paris for the rest of the trip). I am trying to plan a rough schedule and I intend to buy my train tickets in advance.
I would like to arrive at Lyon as early as possible to maximise my time there so I am trying to find the earliest possible train from CDG 2 TGV.
I just want to know roughly:
a) how long it will take to clear French immigration (for non EU traveller) (are they very fast or very slow?),
b) how long it will take to go from the airport to the train station,
c) What time should I book my train tickets for? (how much leeway should I give myself?)
d) Also, if hypothetically, I miss that train, can I just hop on the next available train?
e) I understand that the tickets are only available to purchase 3 months in advance.
Say I travel on 2nd, and my return to Paris is on the 5th, should I wait until the 5th of (say) April to purchase the to and fro tickets? Or should I grab the tickets on the 2nd, and then on the 5th?

Based on the stickied post about the new "enhanced" ACT, only 27 Reading questions will count towards your score (36-9=27). Typically there have been 36 possible ACT Reading scores (1-36 scale). Having only 27 questions that count means that there can only be a maximum of 27 possible Reading scaled scores in the new exam, since each raw score can only correspond to 1 scaled score.
So there will be a minimum of 9 dashes in the scaling tables (places where 1 mistake decreases your scaled score by 2 points), and there could be more if e.g. 26 correct and 25 correct both scale to a 35. All other things being equal, mistakes will have a greater impact on scaled scores in the new Reading section vs the current 40 question Reading.
Reminder; you can choose the current or new exam when you register through to the July 2025 ACT. Starting in Sep 2025 the new exam becomes mandatory on all National test dates (US and international ACTs).

So question on value of the new promotions. Tesla has the Free item with selection of FSD, and with FDS, Drive Anywhere is dropped down to 2k. So for 10k, I was able to get the 6,500 six seat upgrade, FSD, free supercharging and premium connectivity for 3 years, along with a 1k referral credit being a current owner and the MSRP is still 79,900 to qualify for the 7500 federal credit. Does that seem worth it or a good deal? For context: I’m currently in a Model Y paying for FSD monthly and supercharge about $68 a month on average, but could bump that up to 150-200 a month due to living near a super charger and taking more trips.

Anyone having an issue with the check engine light turning on frequently. Every time it turns on I take it to dealership and get the same reason for the light, gasoline issue. The dealership is saying there is very little tolerance for the octane and it causes a cylinder misfire error. Each time they reset and I’m on my way, but recently, the light seems to be coming back on more frequently.

I shipped my parcel to my local auspost post office since I was away on holiday. While I was away it got stuck in Melbourne for around a week and then when I got back I contacted UPS. They said that they don’t ship parcels to post offices even though it says they do to auspost on their website. Then I changed the delivery to my home address since I was back and now it’s saying it’s arrived in brighton which was where the local post office was. So I went to the local post office to ask if it was there and they said they have no clue where it is and that the tracking number doesn’t even pop up in there system. What do I do, I have been waiting for a very long time and this is starting to get on my nerves.

Does anyone feel encouraged to use the unbreakable+ursa build with these changes in mind? I was already using spirit of the bear, and now I'm not interested in it at all. Generating super is just much more interesting and impactful than recycling back into grenade charges. I hope they don't go through with/walk back the rework, because I was excited to use the buffed unbreakable with the current exotic functions.

The bureau has been a net positive to society and America; they try to help and take their job seriously. Often, they end up getting blamed at the agency's behest. Even, for example, 9-11, both the bureau and agency were blamed. However, as it occurred to me, the FBI had tried doing its job, but because of the bureaucracy, the agency gatekept crucial intelligence. Along with that, unneeded Assassinations and drug activity were done by the agency for minimal gain, and all because they felt threatened. Hopefully, Trump will control the agency, but the bureau has always been a much better organization.
