I've been craving a really addicting game. One I just CANT put down. I played and enjoyed: cult of the lamb, animal crossing, hades, palia, slime rancher, grow: song of the evertree, sky: cotl, crypt custodian, minecraft (dungeons), and princess peach showtime
I'm pretty burnt out on all of them.
I'm not super interested in playing stardew valley, I didn't enjoy cozy Grove all that much.
I need to feel my eyes drying out into little raisins because I'm so addicted to the game. I need to think about it night and day, carve all possible time out of my schedule to play the game.
What games (cozy or not) roped you in and kept you hooked for hours and hours, can't put it down, just obsessed with it.

We are physically separated from the little country of horrors, but I still have a work superior that I appreciated who is either ignorant of the BS that Elmo has done over the years, or perpetually blinded to the blatant idiocy in recent times.
- It starts with the love story about how Elmo clearly could have retired and is not motivated by money, otherwise he would have taken his PayPal earnings, but instead chose to make the world a better place (Too many current indications and sources to counter that)
- The genius model, or "He's a weirdo, but has great ideas! Tesla is above and beyond every manufacturer, SpaceX is to follow". This is not Elmo hard at work
- Humility - "He sleeps at the factory and only has a tiny home" - Despite every other account of his life.....?

2025.01.24 05:43 round_phrog AP Chem between taking AP physics 1 and AP physics C?
Hey guys,
Context: My school only allows us to take 1 science class per year. Freshman year, we're required to take a regular biology class. Sophomore year, people usually choose between Chemistry Honors and APP1 (most do chem honors). I'm currently a sophomore taking APP1. My parents were like "oh, if you're going to major in engineering (EE and/or CS), you should speedrun these APs as much as you can! do APP1 sophomore year!" (i'm asian).
I asked some of my friends what I should take next year, and most of them said APPC because since I already learned the content in APP1, APPC will just be a continuation and it won't be that bad. However, if I take another field of science in between, it's very likely that I'll forget a lot of things from APP1 and APPC will be more difficult. My parents argue that in order to show colleges that I'm "well-rounded by taking a life science and physical science" I must take AP chem before senior year (because apparently grades in senior year first semester don't show my well roundedness enough). But my thinking is, why did I speedrun AP courses in my sophomore year if I'm just going to undo it by forgetting stuff that I learned, then take AP Chem (knowing just about nothing but H2O is water), then take APPC while forgetting everything I learned in APP1?
sorry if this was kind of long.
P.S. How hard would AP chem be if I had no prior knowledge besides those from a summer class or something?

There are ways that you can do it by changing behaviours (eg shopping at lower cost supermarkets) but there are also ways to do it by negotiating (eg call up utility providers for better deals).
Just wondering to what extent people a) analyse their spend, b) change their behaviours/consumption to lower costs and c) if they negotiate with providers for better deals.
