Maybe you shouldn't have sat shoulder to shoulder with me and when I asked if you were really okay with starting something together maybe your answer shouldn't have been "obviously yes". Maybe when I brought up insecurities from my last relationship you shouldn't have reassured me not to dwell on the past and that we could move on from it together. Maybe you shouldn't have asked me every night if we should do something together and maybe you shouldn't have come up with all those amazing date ideas that you knew we would both enjoy. Maybe you shouldn't have let me play with your hair and put my hand on your thigh and kiss you on my cheek. Maybe you shouldn't have fallen asleep in my lap and when you woke up and I asked you what I was to you, maybe you shouldn't have said "my girlfriend". Maybe you shouldn't have gotten me that bracelet or folded me those paper cranes or drawn me that heart on a sticky note that I kept on my desk from there on. Maybe you shouldn't have asked me what I wanted for Christmas, or my birthday, or Valentine's. Maybe you shouldn't have driven me everywhere. Maybe you shouldn't have put your arm around me in front of all our friends as if you wanted the world to know I was yours. Maybe you shouldn't have walked miles to my place late at night insisting that you wanted to see me even when I told you to get some rest. Maybe you shouldn't have let me say suggestive things to you that I only said because you indicated that you were comfortable being submissive. Maybe you shouldn't have cuddled with me on the carpet and when you reached your arm out for me to lay my head on, you shouldn't have said "this is what the rest of our lives is going to be like, isn't it?" Maybe you shouldn't have told me the reason that we hadn't kissed after months of dating was because you were waiting for a very special moment. Maybe you shouldn't have made elaborate plans for milestone after milestone - a year, ten years, fifty. Maybe you shouldn't have mentioned when we were lying side by side that you date to marry. Maybe you shouldn't have constantly brought up, both in casual and serious conversation, the topic of moving in together or buying a house together or having lots of children or putting a ring on my finger because you should realize that when you said you wanted forever, I believed you meant forever. I believed every single word you said.
Because god knows I trusted you, and I loved you, and I still do. And even when we ran into hurdles I assumed that was normal in any healthy relationship and so I put more effort into it and always came out loving you even more. Yes I was naive and I was giving more than I had to give but maybe you shouldn't have made me feel like I was making the right choice if by then you had, like you said during our final conversation, already made up your mind that it was never going to work out. You told me you felt the relationship was rushed even though you were always the one reassuring me that we were pacing ourselves well. You told me you felt we weren't compatible despite the fact that no one you meet will ever love you as much as I did. You told me how you felt like I had settled for you, when if I had my way, I would've chosen you over and over and over. And when I asked if ultimately you were ending things because of your own insecurities you couldn't come up with a response, which told me everything I needed to know. But I suppose I just hate that you put so much effort into something you didn't want when you knew full well that I wanted it, and that this whole time the only time you managed to be somewhat honest with me was during this final conversation. Because fuck you for making me think you wanted forever when you said you wanted forever, and fuck you for making me think that things were going to be alright. Fuck you for refusing to preserve my dignity when you finally decided to end things. Fuck you for failing to communicate, because by doing so, you failed me. I am done, and as badly as I want to bargain for the version of you that I fell in love with, I am going to defy you for once and learn, despite everything, to move on.

I’m a professional manga artist working as an assistant, and without disclosing who I work for, when I was in Japan I had a really good studio to do my work in. I moved back to the PH because living costs were high, my contract was over and I really wanted to publish my own manga instead of working for another author. I was thinking if a small one-room space is possible to rent in Pasig? Just enough to fit my giant Xp-Pen tablet tbh… but I also want a mini-warehouse for my acrylic merch and prints/stickers. Honestly I’ve been spoon-fed so well in Japan regarding small, solo, private office spaces for illustrators that I’m struggling to find this kind of accommodation in the Philippines.

My current rig:
Ryzen 5 5600 32gb ram RTX 4060
Game has been running okay, when I first got on the 4.0 update it was buttery smooth with DLSS but I jumped back on tonight and it’s just awful, especially in a city like new babbage. Been freezing for like 5-10 seconds randomly and just overall not a good time compared to when the 4.0 preview first dropped. Is it just the servers?
Anyway, if I can upgrade one part of my rig what would you guys recommend I go for? CPU? Any specific recommendations are helpful. Not trying to break the bank but looking to upgrade something that will get me a bit better performance

Hey guys, after 3 years of searching found a clean 8th gen to buy, however when I was looking for superchargers/turbos I’ve learned that there aren’t any carb compliant ones. In fact there’s only one supercharger that’s super illegal lol.
Anyways this has me rethinking this platform entirely since it’s pretty gutless without boost.

When I press play on steam, I press yes to "will you let this app make changes to your device" and the launcher never pops up. It keeps saying I'm playing, but the launcher never pops up.
- I've tried installing it on Epic games launcher
- I have my latest drivers for AMD
- I have checked the integrity of my files 3 times
- Ran the launcher as administrator in the game files
- I've waited nearly an hour one time, nothing happened
I have no idea at this point what to do to make it work- maybe someone here can help?
