 | Felix, leider ohne Bild, war mein Teenager Kater. Kam, von einem Bauernhof, ganz in schwarz und nach einer unglücklichen Begegnung mit einem Fangeisen 😠 dreibeinig. Aber trotzdem ein großer Jäger und Sammler 😏 Dann viele Jahrzehnte später kam Filou, lebt lange Jahre auf der Straße und kam dann ins Tierheim, von wo wir ihn holten 😄 und er dann fast zehn Jahre bei uns lebte. Hello, I grew up with a mother who had narcissistic personality disorder. My sister and I went through difficult times, struggling with depression and anxiety.
I didn’t even realize that I had any problems. I just thought of myself as someone who was emotionally detached and lacked determination. Even when I made plans, it was hard to carry them out due to lethargy, and when things didn’t go as planned, I blamed myself for being lazy.
I confessed these struggles to a priest, and he told me that what I needed wasn’t prayer, but psychiatric counseling. That moment was a huge shock to me, and I began to reflect on my life.
The times I chose to be invisible as a child under a mother with narcissistic personality disorder. The emotional wounds inflicted on me by her. The memory of myself as a preschooler, threatening to jump off the balcony to get her attention. The memory of a classmate’s parent asking me if I was okay because I didn’t seem to get along well with others. Maybe I’ve been intentionally ignoring the signals I’ve been sending to myself.
This year, I’m working hard to become a better person because I don’t want my mother’s flaws to be passed down to the next generation.
There have been moments of despair, but I rely on God and pray for help to become a better person.
At the same time, I want to help my sister, who is experiencing the same struggles as me. After all, we all have the right to be happy.
My sister often unconsciously mimics our mother’s tone or habits. Sometimes, she says hurtful things to her boyfriend in the same way our mom used to speak to us. I try to comfort her and advise her not to do that because I want her to join me on the journey of breaking the cycle of generational trauma. However, my sister’s wounds seem so deep and entrenched that she doesn’t seem ready to confront them yet.
I believed that this behavior was my way of showing love to my sister. But there are moments when, as I give her advice, I catch myself thinking that I’m better than her. This has made me wonder if my actions aren’t purely motivated by love for her, but rather by a desire to prove that I’m a better person.
It hurts to think that my intentions might not be pure and that I might have been trying to help my sister out of pride instead of genuine love.

I made a little bluetooth macro keyboard. The problem I'm having is I have to remove the device from my stored bluetooth settings on my computer and re-add it every time I shut the ESP off and power it back up. Even a reboot.
How to I get it to reconnect or remember the pairing on power up?
