2025.01.24 09:31 WorriedAbtFloxxed Worried about potential floxxing??
Hello, I haven't been on this subreddit before and have just made this throwaway account to seek advice.
Recently, I (16 F) had a very bad case of E. Coli and was prescribed Cipro for my symptoms. It cleared up my E. Coli infection, but now I'm worried I have potentially have been floxxed by the Cipro I took. I have pretty severe OCD too, so I'm not sure if I'm overreacting to an intrusive thought and likely shouldn't be seeking reassurance, but I digress.
Symptoms I have been feeling as of late are as follows; - Feet ache and hurt to stand/walk on. - Feet tingle and itch at night wheb I try to sleep - Having trouble trying to sleep - Hands sometimes feel week and tingly, noticed shaking in some of my fingers
I'm sure there is more symptoms I'm forgetting to mention, but I'm not sure. Advice would be appreciated because I'm worried I was floxxed and I don't want to deal with any more stress in my life than I'm already dealing with, worried about a tendon rupture if I don't get this taken seriously by my mother who thinks I'm overreacting, as she says she has taken Cipro several times with no ill side affects.

As the podcast comes to a close, I just wanted to tell you how much of an impact it had on my life. In the darkest years of my life, this podcast was the one bright spot I had. You three helped me get through an extremely abusive relationship, my parent's divorce, and the death of my brother to suicide. No matter how bad my life got, no matter how much I wanted to just end it all, seeing three of the most joyful, intelligent, and empathetic people I've ever seen find humor in everything and bring joy to each other and the thousands of Chucklers (mostly) every week was usually the only thing that could cheer me up.
Charlie, you may actually be the kindest, most genuine person ever. Your sense of humor complements your abundance of empathy perfectly. Never change.
Tucker, you are an inspiration to me. How you were able to go from working for your dad to being fully self sufficient is nothing short of remarkable. You should be extremely proud of how your life has turned out.
Schlatt, Your sense of humor is nothing short of genius. Your gruff exterior hides what is clear to anyone that's watched your content is a heart of gold. I know you've gotten into a lot of unfortunate situations with people who turned out to be shitty, but I genuinely hope you're able to make content you enjoy making. Your Weekly Slap videos helped me get through high school, and you were the reason I discovered this podcast.
Ted, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for creating this podcast. Without it, I would not be alive to write these words. I hope it's brought you as much fulfillment as it's brought me happiness. You obviously love what you do, and I wish you the best in all your future endeavours.

2025.01.24 09:31 Rakeshh_3 Help Me Decide: JBL Bar 1000 vs Samsung Q990D Soundbar
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to buy a soundbar and, after researching online (mostly Reddit and rtings), I had pretty much decided on the Samsung Q990D. So, I went to my local electronics store (think of it like Best Buy in the U.S.) to check it out.
Here’s the thing—the sales associate at the store was super insistent on pushing the JBL Bar 1000 instead. Even though I asked about the Q990D, he dismissed it as an inferior product and kept hyping up the JBL. He mentioned things like “True Dolby Atmos,” detachable rear surround speakers, and how JBL uses “the best neodymium magnets” in their setup. He also said the JBL has a better subwoofer because it’s downward-firing, compared to the Q990D’s side-firing setup.
I asked for a demo, and here’s what happened:
The sales guy played some video clips using HDMI cables on both soundbars. I went with my cousin, who actually liked the JBL better. He said it felt more like a theatre experience. Personally, I preferred the Q990D because of its clarity, especially with dialogues. With the JBL, I noticed a certain heaviness in the sound during dialogues (probably the bass?).
Additionally, I asked about the extended warranty for the Samsung Q990D. They quoted 15% of the soundbar’s purchase price for a 2-year additional warranty. Do you think it’s worth taking the extended warranty?
For context:
My TV is a Sony OLED A80J (55”). My living room is small (for now). The price difference between the two soundbars is negligible.
Now I’m stuck trying to make the final decision. And, would you recommend getting the extended warranty? I’d love to hear your inputs:
