So I currently have an Arlo security camera system. I am not too impressed and now that they announced a price increase; I have been looking at Reolink. Currently I have an eero 6e mesh system that is hardwired. I have 4 routers that are connected to an unmanaged 4 port switch. I am planning on getting a similar 4 camera setup with the POE cameras (12mp Reolink dome). So if I get rid of my current switch and pickup a 16 port unmanaged PoE+ Nextgear switch (GS316P) will my routers have any issues? I have them each connected to a separate power supply and didn’t know if the PoE switch would interfere with the signal? Or does it simply not transmit power when it doesn’t need to?

Update: I have mixed feelings about this washday Hi everyone, thank you so much about all the nice comments about my hair and the advice under my last post. It is nice to have some guidance as I just started to care for my curly hair.
I tried to follow a bunch of your suggestions and I have mixed feelings about todays washday.
I will write the routine in the comments but here is what I did differently than the last time:
  • I used a more light weight leave in
  • I left out the curl cream
  • I only used a light weight foam instead of gel
  • I did the whole routine upside down
  • I didn’t apply product on sopping wet hair
  • I only used a wide tooth comb
Here is what I like:
  • I have found that my curl pattern was a lot tighter in some places (see photos), I was super happy about those 4-5 bouncy curls.
  • I have a lot of volume
  • drying time was a lot less than usual
Here is what I don’t like:
  • except for those 4-5 really nice curls, my hair was basically a frizzy mess. I have a lot of different curl patterns. Especially the top layer of my hair is almost straight. It’s getting curlier the more I care for it, but it’s pretty dead. This part doesn’t curl as much, probably because of the heat damage and because I used to sleep without any protective style.
  • because I did everything „upside down“ I now have this weird gap in the back again. When I do my hair upside down, it’s hard to find the pieces that I usually finger roll (the more damaged straight parts). Because of this, you can really see how thin and fine my hair is. The photo looks absolutely horrible :D
  • the foam didn’t give me a cast, that’s probably why my hair is so frizzy. Are there any light weight products you recommend that create a cast?
Do you know how I might keep the tighter curls and get the rest of my hair to behave as well?
