Hello! My girlfriend is an artist and I'm planning to surprise her with a gift. I've seen she does use a lot of pencil, and then I started to search about em, cause schematics are the only thing I'm capable of drawing, and arrived here. I was hoping you'd help me choose.
So, my info is that she has Derwent Inktense pencils, but from the drawings I've seen she doesn't use them much as watercolors, so I suspect she uses em cause they are the only quality pencils she has.
I want to buy something quality for her, and for what I've read, Polychromos was the popular choice. And the remaining question would be, what size is best? Cause I had NO IDEA these things were SO expensive. I would need to spend my entire monthly pay to buy a 100 pack of Luminance! So, I want to know around what size is good so I buy the highest quality I can, or maybe if it's better to buy a bigger size instead of a small of the highest grade

I have two Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16IRL8 laptops with the same specifications, and I’m having the exact same touchpad issue with both of them.
The "Mic and other pointing device" driver keeps disappearing from the device manager. Earlier, I used to connect an external mouse, reinstall the "Mic and other pointing device" driver, and restart, and it used to work. But now, that doesn’t happen anymore.
To make things worse, the external mouse has also stopped working now, and the driver is completely missing from the device manager. I’ve also noticed that I don’t see the "Touchpad" settings under "Bluetooth & devices," like many guides on the internet show.
I’ve come across quite a few people having the same issue with this exact model, so this doesn’t feel like an isolated case. Someone told me it could be a motherboard issue—can anyone confirm if that’s true?
It’s so frustrating since these laptops aren’t cheap, and I expected better. If anyone has faced this problem and knows how to fix it, please share your solution. I’m desperate for help here!

I’d like to try singing harmonies with my band. I did a little vocal training but didn’t take to it. I can practice bass for hours but practicing vocal exercises was pretty dull.
If I can get a mic set up that allows me to hear myself while playing to our songs is that good enough? How much time should I dedicate to singing?

Tell me I’m a bad owner if I am, I want to be better so I’m not against it. My beautiful girl had a limp in the past and I followed regular google advice (if it doesn’t go away after 3 days take her in). And so it went away and yada yada. It happened again, same leg, so I took her to two different vets one of which did x-rays and this was back in October. Two weeks of rest they said. Now this is where I start to feel guilty, the person who watches her when I’m out said that they started limping (same leg) two times. I never left her more than a couple days, and never saw the limp myself. I should’ve listened immediately. I saw it a couple weeks ago, took her to the vet. They said oh no worries but I insisted on a CCL tear because I’ve gone through it before so I was referred to a specialist who just diagnosed her with a partial tear the exact fear that I had. She’s very very young, and I just don’t know how I can live with myself knowing I could’ve got it diagnosed sooner especially since I’ve had dog who’ve had it before. I feel like a horrible owner right now.

Hola, soy un joven de 24 años con un año de egresado y ejerciendo mi carrera, realmente por esa parte me siento muy cómodo siendo pseudofreelancer en el mundo de eventos empresariales y bla bla bla. El caso es que trabajo de viernes a sábado y el resto de días los tengo libre ya que no he cachado eventos para poner entre semana. No tengo muchos amigos que no sean de la chamba, no tengo novia aquí en la ciudad, me gusta mucho hacer trekking y subir cerros pero no me lanzo solo porque México y no tengo quien me acompañe entre semana 🫠 algún consejo?
