I’m going to start this off by saying I won’t being saying any names of those who are a part of this.
My Daytona 24 went well except for most of the post race stuff. My team finished 5th overall at the end of race in the GTP Cadillac.
During the race I was driving going into the bus stop trying to race the guy in front of me for position. I messed up bus stop complete The car behind me happened to be 2nd place at the time I’m going to call them blue team. Blue team would end up “hitting me” ( The replay showed net code because we didn’t have contact) leading to them going into the wall. Which I saw in my mirror.
One of blue team would message me in game asking if I was drunk and telling me I’m terrible. I was confused because i didn’t think I did anything to blue team.
Later on while I was watching my teammate drive. I decided to go look at irating of some of guys on the other teams. I looked up the guy who messaged me from blue team and found he went from 2k irating to 900 all in same day as Daytona, told my teammate (which later he would protest blue team for this.) I called out the blue team member and his response was “Bad day in the office.”
Blue team would finish like 5 seconds ahead of us at end of race. My teammate would later go on a protest them for dropping irating. Which was successful lead to there DQ.
I would get messages from two of team members from blue team on the forums saying “Hey buddy! I really hope that P4 in the daytona 24 was worth it for ya. Career day for you im sure. First ever top 15 of your career! Here at blue team we love your protest and thank you for having no life whatsoever. Hope you have an awful day! P.S. we beat you fair and square and thats what matters.”
My teammate told me to protect the message which I did. My question is why do need to break the rules then be butt hurt when you get caught.
I would love for some others input and discussion about Daytona and if I’m overthinking this all

Good evening everyone, in November my girlfriend and I would like to go on vacation to China for 15/20 days, it would be the first time, the only safe thing is that we have the arrival flight to Beijing. We would like to visit Beijing as we get there, but then we would like to go to the center towards Xian, Jiuzhaigou, Chengdu/Leshan, Chongqing, Zangjiajie. Obviously we don't necessarily want to see them all, l ask you to recommend an itinerary for 15/20 days, even skipping some of these destinations, or even replacing some destination! Thanks in advance, any advice is welcome!!

2025.01.24 06:42 Click-Alive New mattress made my hips dip, is my solution dumb?
I have been through 3 mattress at mattress firm since September because I have been having a hard time getting the right one for me (soft on the shoulder but firm for my hips. So I went all out and got the beauty rest black series 3 medium after spending over an hour and a half at mattress firm and to my disappointment the mattress was much softer than the display room model. This destroys my lower back especially when my hips dip below my shoulders. I’m stuck with this mattress because I have already exceeded return limit and I will not be spending another $250 on mattress removal if they do approve it again.
My solution was to use a combination of Wood and scrap 4 inch foam to use in the middle of my adjustable frame to give an exaggerated hump for hip and lumbar support so at least when my hips sink it’s level with rest of my spine. It feels like a dumb idea but it really the only thing I got to remedy the issue so I’m curious on other opinions on this.
Also as an unrelated side tangent, I don’t know why I have had a better nights sleep on cheap Sam’s club mattresses than I have ever had in the expensive ones I have been sleeping this past almost half year.

I’m worried I might be late to meet application deadlines, especially since I’ll need time for the IELTS results, SOPs, LORs, and transcripts. Is it still feasible to apply for the Fall batch?

Hello! a little background story but ever since I was a kid, I never really understood what I should and shouldn’t say (except really obvious things like calling people ugly, smelly, etc) (I also understand if what i said was wrong if someone explains it to me or I’ve had like hours to think about it) I’m not dumb in other aspects such as academically. I was always first in the old country I lived in(The Philippines) and I currently have a 4.9 GPA out of 5.0 (in Japan) It’s not as if I don’t care what other people feel. I actually get told a lot that I feel bad for others too often. Ever since I was a kid, for example I used to give money to a classmate of mine because they didn’t get money for snacks (I didn’t get a huge amount of money either i only got 20 pesos lmao) I also never lied until i was around 11 (you might find it hard to believe but it’s true and my mom used this to her advantage and always asked me something instead of my other family members hahaha) But i find it really hard to know if something I want to say will offend someone or not. My mom told me to just stay quiet so i won’t unknowingly hurt someone’s feelings but I’ve always been talkative and love talking. i’m not sure what I can do to understand people’s feelings more or if I really should just keep quiet. Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I have got a Sony trinitron G21SA5 and when I clicked one of the PROG buttons I get some random rainbow colors on the screen for a moment and some Static sound for a moment and then nothing, I plug in a VCR and click source and nothing, I sometimes here sound from the VHS tape that's playing for a moment but it goes away.

 | Please excuse the state of window and door etc, as you can imagine we're having a damp problem. We've lived in our house 3 years, and every storm when wind drives the rain against the front of the house it leaks in through the window from the top board and down the front wall to the door frame (which isn't directly underneath the window). House is an 1800s miners cottage We've had the roof pulled up and refelted once, with new batoning, and had 2 roofers out 3 times to try resourcing the leak when it hasn't worked. Leadwork redone with new ridge tiles, repointed gable ends. Our front ridge tile is cemented in as it came loose. We haven't had the walls repointed as they both inspected and said it was intact. Is it worth repointing anyway?? We're running out of ideas and feel very stuck. First, I would like to preface that this is a me thing: it is not an objective flaw.
So I want to enjoy Steven Universe, and I used to enjoy Steven Universe. However, I just can’t bring myself to enjoy it these days, and it’s for a problem probably exclusive to me. When it comes to Steven Quartz Demayo Universe being not only the main character of the show, but also being the one who resolves all the conflicts, I noticed one little issue. No, it’s not anything about the diamonds, it’s not anything related to fusions, it’s not even related to Rose, Spinel, or anyone or anything else, besides Steven himself. Now, I like Steven, I really do like him as a character. But, I cannot shake my one and only issue: Steven is male.
Now hear me out, the gems are nonbinary women made of light. I understand that all the gems are a monogendered and monosexual species of nonbinary women, who are lesbians (with the exception of rose, who is pansexual), but we also have Steven, a gem-human mix, who remains the sole special outlier. Why is this an issue? Because the issues amongst the gems are theirs and only theirs to resolve. But if Steven is the one resolving all the conflicts by being the special good little boy with the powers exclusive to lesbians from space, it brings up an issue.
With all of this, then I can only conclude that Steven Universe is a show about a male getting into lesbian spaces, being accepted and applauded into those lesbian spaces, and getting all the credit for fixing the issues that those lesbians cannot fix themselves. Now, as we know, Steven is a heterosexual boy, not a lesbian woman. Thus, he has no goddamn right to squeeze his way into the communication-focused drama occurring between everyone and taking the credit for solving all their fears, confusions, and problems.
If Steven was a girl instead of a boy, this entire problem goes away, and it goes away completely. If we keep connie, (and I love Connie, she’s a great character!), and Nora Universe is still together with Connie, and everything about the story stays the same, (though you could argue that the Steven-only perspective is also worth eliminating from a plot standpoint), then I would have absolutely no problem with any of it. And in regards to the Steven-only perspective, that makes the problem of sidelining the many colourful fun space lesbians for one straight boy who’s stronger than all of them to always hog the spotlight, does a disservice to the quality of the series, from my point of view. Not to mention that with SU wearing the Shoujo Kakumei Utena inspiration on its sleeves, it would make so much more sense for SU’s (or in this case, NU’s) protagonist to also be a proud lesbian.
I’m sorry if this doesn’t fit here, but I at least wanted to know if I’m reading into any of this wrong. Again, it’s all my opinion, it isn’t objective flaws. Thank you for reading, at least.
