Hello, I, 22F, graduated in June 2024; in the spring, before I graduated, I applied to a master's program in counseling psychology at the same university where I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology this past June. In December of 2024, I applied for the PsyD program and submitted my application for early decision for the same counseling psychology program this time. I just got an email yesterday, which I will attach to this post, of my rejection letter from the PsyD program, which, in all I anticipated, is not that big of a deal for me. But I also remember being waitlisted and rejected when I applied before graduating. Also, since then, I have been a behavioral health technician in an inpatient psychiatric ward working with different age populations since the July after I received my degree. I have gotten strong letters of recommendation from the staff I work with. I have a couple of questions. When should I expect to hear a reply back out of curiosity from other people's experiences; also, I'm just nervous I'll still get rejected this time for the master's program even though I applied early decision and have gained additional experience and since I got rejected from the PsyD program today.
TLD: I was nervous about getting into the counseling psychology program after getting rejected from the same school's PsyD program and getting waitlisted and rejected from the master's program when I applied while I was still an undergrad.

I'm missing something here as to why the above mentioned combo is so good? The wraiths don't seem all that impressive to me compared to other units they seem normal to the bunch and the Technomancer seems to only give them FNP so what am I missing as to why everyone says use this combo?

I have a Ford focus 2016 and for the past two weeks it has been stalling a lot more frequently. ive noticed that its only when its idling in traffic, driving in a neighborhood, and in parking lots. it won't accelerate no matter how much i press on gas, it sputters and shuts off. im not sure what to do and I'm afraid or taking it to a midas or any other mechanic, I've had way too many times of them trying to overcharge me. I've done research and it could a number of things. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could help me narrow it down

I recently dated a guy for a few months that was long distance about 2 1/2 hrs apart. The first “long distance” for both of us, and so we knew it would be more of a ‘let’s give this a try and see.’ When we were together, which was typically multiple days at a time, we got along very well, great chemistry. Our last time together was several nights over the New Year. Recently, though, the texting had diminished, and when I asked him about it directly, he said he was no longer feeling “the spark.” He talked about other issues going on with him that I already knew about that were pretty major life things (getting custody of his teen son, car in the shop for weeks, ER visit expenses, etc), but I told him in the end I’d be thinking about the no spark comment so the rest is sort of irrelevant. It wasn’t a bad convo and it ended cordial and we still are connected via Instagram following. I have ZERO intentions of ever reaching out to him directly, but the curiosity gets to me re: if I will ever hear from him again? And I know… I KNOW I should not worry about that and move on, and I am… but I just wonder if ever anyone has had a situation where a guy has said this and then come back around? Has someone told you they lost the spark after dating a while, yet you happen to hear from them down the line at some point? Or for guys, have you ever said this to someone and then reconsidered once you got out of a more “crisis” mode in life?

My son is 16. He is around 300lbs and 5'9". He had a Dr appointment today and I told her that we wanted to start working on his weight. I didn't suggest wegovy, she did. He had to get blood work done and to see a nutritionist first .
I've been told that this medication can be given to kids as young as 12. I've been on it since July and have been doing great! Down a little over 50lbs so far.
Does anyone have any experience with a teenager on this? Any advice?

Not sure if this is the right subreddit to ask this question but not sure where else to put it. Basically, I transferred to Cal Poly Pomona from SMC (Santa Monica college) last semester, at SMC I took math 28 (Business Calc 1) but when I got here I was told that only counts for half the math requirement (I would’ve had to take math 29 which is business calc 2 at smc) and I will now have to take Math 1250 (Introduction to business calc)
I’m wondering if there are any online college options that anyone could recommend to fulfill this requirement rather than having to essentially retake business calculus.
Full transparency I am looking for easy as possible credits, I am not great at math and have 0 interest in it due to its lack of relevancy in anything I will likely do in my career or even in the rest of college.
