I was watching a YouTuber explain it on livestream when a commenter brought it up, he appeared to explain that it includes businesses being legally mandated to prioritize electing "candidates of the less represented groups" "like women, blacks or trans people" over the "privileged" group, basically sums up what he said in simple terms group for employment or leadership roles and keep in mind this is YouTuber that tends to be left leaning on most topics, when I research it myself what the policy states and what it means I only get answers like "to promote the fair treatment and full participation of people" for example which comes up on Google.
Now if this really part of what the policy outlines then it sounds pretty absurd to me but nonetheless can anyone provide any documentation that states what this means to an HR representative or a director looking to hire actors as another example.

Historically, businesses and power users who needed a reliable backup internet connection have turned to a second fiber subscription. The idea was simple: if the primary connection failed, the secondary one would take over. However, this approach has two clear issues:
1) Cost: Enterprise fiber subscriptions are expensive, and the hardware required to manage dual connections adds even more to the bill.
2) Physical Vulnerability: A single point of failure, like a cable being accidentally severed during construction or a fire damaging infrastructure, would knock out both connections since they often follow the same physical route.
This is where AST's solution could make a difference. The router they've been testing with Fairwinds since last fall could offer an affordable and dependable backup option—or even work as a primary satellite-based connection that doesn’t need a dish.
If this works as advertised, it could open up a lot of opportunities for the company. Businesses in remote areas, companies needing high reliability, or those looking to cut costs on redundancy might find this very appealing. It’s not hard to imagine a range of new use cases and revenue streams emerging from this.

Hello there!
I have a problem with my TV/ Soundbar and I tried several things to fix this problem, but wasn't successful - so here I am and asking for help.
But let's start first with the involved hardware:
55 GUB 7040 - Fire TV Edition (don't blame me - it was a present) LG Soundbar with additional wireless speakers for the back
They are connected with HDMI ARC
The problem:
After switching on the TV everything works as intended - the soundbar turns on including the additional speakers. When I want to stream the following happens (additional information: it happens when I use the Chromecast or the internal Smart TV software - and it happens with most streaming services (Netflix, Disney, local streaming provider, etc., as far as I can see, it's no problem with youtube):
First minute goes fine, then
- TV goes black, like I switched the Input Channel - TV is back, with the sound first "strange" but everything is fine after 5 Sec - TV goes black, like I switched the Input Channel again - TV is back, with the sound first "strange" but everything is fine after 5 Sec - TV goes black, like I switched the Input Channel again
Now one of the following happens:
- TV is back, but with the sound muted - TV is back, but the streaming services is closed (If I start streaming again, everything starts from the beginning) - TV is back, with the sound first "strange" but everything is fine after 5 Sec
After that, everything works fine, no problems anymore - even If I choose a different movie/ tv show whatever within the streaming service.
Since it worked fine with my Teufel-Soundbar I had first, I first thought this might be a software problem which will be updated by LG soon, but no, this didn't happen so far after 18 months.
Does anyone has a clue, what the problem might be?

Since I started using the heater under my desk at work, I've had redness on my legs that won't go away. At first, I kept the heater very close to my legs, and as soon as I felt it was too hot, like burning, I moved it further back. I can't understand why it ruined the skin on my legs so much like this (I was wearing boots), so I'm asking here if anyone could help me figure out what the problem is. I'm thinking of making an appointment with a dermatologist. If you want to write to me privately to see...go ahead, maybe you know more than me...

Dear health enthusiasts,
I recently got the new Gen 4 Oura Ring (Size 11), and I wanted to share my experience with its battery life while checking in to hear about yours.
In my first two weeks of ownership, I’ve been getting about 6 days of use before needing to recharge the ring. For reference => I have location services turned off, but all other features are enabled.
With a size 11 ring, I was hoping to get closer to the Magical 8 days of battery life. Is that just wishful thinking? What has your experience been with the Gen 4 Oura Ring? Do you have any tips for maximizing battery life?

2025.01.24 09:49 EmotionOk4467 Please help. I used the PSU power switch to turn off my pc (while it was running). It never booted back. Now I bought a new PSU, fans spin up for a few seconds then stop. All over again.
So, as the title says. I actually bought 2 new psus, and one of them let me inside, booted up into "bios recovery" as it was corrupted. It asked me for passwords I knew nothing about. After that happened, I never got that far into booting up my pc. I bought another PSU as the one I did previously was used. Same issue, fans spin up, no boot. Tried everything I saw on the internet. Booting it up with 1 stick of ram, with no hdd/sdd, no gpu, outside the case, taking out cmos battery then placing it back, etc. Nothing works.
It spins up for a bit, sometimes maybe loads a bit of display then stops.
What is faulty? What do I need to replace?
SPECS: NVIDA 1040ti Intel i5 300gb hdd 120gb ssd GA-B75M-D3V mobo (dualbios) 400w psu

So i was playing sultans of swing with my friend today and i was playing fills and solos and he was playing chords and i just cant stay on rythm it is just so hard and idk what to do. I love playing guitar but it is just so frustrating and kinda embarassing when i listen to the song i can hear when he should play but when i try to do it i suddenly become braindead. Or like any other song when i dont play easy chords on beat with percussion. Smells like teen spirit solo for example is very easy for me to play on my own but when i try to play with backing track i get completly lost. Any help would be much apriciated becaouse jamming with pepole would be so cool and i fell like an total idiot now since it seems that everyone does it naturally
