my employer requires that employees work in polo shirts with no jackets, however the area we are working gets cold enough that we can see our own breaths. i haven’t got an exact reading of the temperature. We are asking to be permitted for a work jacket. Are there any laws that would back this up? i am personally not one of the employees in this area, but after hearing them complain i want to do something. I’ve worked at this company for 3 years. We are based in england.
