just venting. iām a graphic design student with only two more terms to finish, and iāve managed to keep my grades up this whole time, but i feel like one of my current professors is grading super harshly. on top of that i emailed this professor to get clarification on her feedback on one of my assignments and she was incredibly rude and unprofessional in how she responded. i know you canāt tell tone in text a lot of the time but if āif you understood basic design principles across campaign design, you would understand what I pointed out.ā sounds rude to me.

I have an i5 10500f, rtx 3060, SSD, etc. system and its not booting after a lot of troubleshooting and temporary parts exchange with my other working PC. I suspect it is either the i5 and/or motherboard or else. I bought the 2nd hand system for $360 2 years ago.
Which option should I choose:
- Buy another 2nd hand system for $130 with r5 5600x, gtx 1060, sdd,, etc, then put the rtx 3060 here and sell the GTX 1060, PSU, ram.
- Replace the cpu (with older 9400f) and mobo for $75 bit there's a risk other parts might be replaced. THANK YOU!

So Iām doing home remedy for what I think is a corn. Itās on my little toe, on the inside. Pretty sure thereās one on the inside of the toe next to it, but that one doesnāt hurt. Iāve been to the dermatologist and sheās treated this one spot for a wart, however, Iām actually pretty sure itās a corn.
After about five days of using the sacyclic acid, there is now a blister around the area. My question is, do I continue the treatment? Or, do I leave the blister alone? Or third choice, do I pop the blister and then use a puma stone for the dead skin and try to get to the corn.
Trying to avoid actually calling a podiatrist for this..
Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated

Synopsis : end of this trilogy of novels , sequel to the two novels " Los Angeles Massacre : Corruption Exposed" and "Bloody Revenge in Los Angeles". In this crossover, James Leblanc, Megan Jensen and Bobby Winters team up to investigate together to discover the identity of the Phantom Puppeteer, who is he or who is she?
Chapter 1 : The trio forms
In a restaurant, James Leblanc and Jane Rand are sitting around a table and talking:

Meanwhile at the police station, Lieutenant Hank O'Reilly makes a phone call to young Megan Jensen, she is in her house, a conversation on the phone with him takes place:
- Miss Jensen, I asked my colleagues and none of them thought to call you to tell you, your brother Alex Jensen is dead, my condolences said Hank O'Reilly.
The next morning, at the police station, Bobby Winters walks up to Inspector James Leblanc, saying:

ich(m,38) hoffe der Sub ist richtig und ich kann die ein oder andere Meinung einholen. Auch wenn die Beziehungsdauer noch nicht geklƤrt ist. Zwischen den Feiertagen war ich in meiner Heimatstadt zu Besuch und habe dann Nachts eine alte Bekannte (w,36) wiedergetroffen. Zwischen und war nie Freundschaft oder etwas sexuelles, man kannte sich halt einfach. Wir haben uns an diesem Abend viel unterhalten und uns zum Ende gekĆ¼sst (die Iniative ging von mir aus) darauf folgte das Austauschen der Nummern.
Am Tag danach musste ich wieder abreisen, ich lebe 270km entfernt. Seit dem Schreiben wir und haben beschlossen, dass wir uns in drei Wochen wiedersehen. So schƶn, so gut. Nun ist es so, dass wir zunƤchst sehr unregelmƤĆig geschrieben haben, letztes Wochenende sehr viel und nun wieder weniger, bzw. in der Regel melde ich mich zuerst. Es scheint inhaltlich alles gut zu sein. Nur verunsichert es mich, dass sie sich seit einigen Tagen kaum mehr von sich aus meldet und ich nicht so bedĆ¼rftig rĆ¼berkommen will, zumal es ja auch ziemlich gesichert ist, das wir uns sehen werden. Wenn ich schreibe, sind ihre Antworten aber dennoch ganz normal, positiv zugewandt, aber vermehrt ohne Gegenfrage.
Mir fƤllt es einfach schwer, ihr Verhalten einzuschƤtzen und wĆ¼rde mich insbesondere Ć¼ber weibliche Perspektiven freuen.
Als Zusatz ist eventuell wichtig zu erwƤhnen, dass sie alleinerziehende Mutter eines siebenjƤhrigen ist.

Hello ! Iām working on a future creation that will use acrylic paint and possibly a base acrylic layer. I also will print a lino block, possibly on this base layer.
Do you think my charbonnel aqua based ink will dry correctly ? I guess it could be a problem, at least because ink would not get into the paper fibers.
Another option I have is to use my lino block with acrylic onto a gel plate before I pull it.
Besides print quality questions, do you think using acrylic onto my block can be a problem for future classic ink prints with this block ?
Has anyone here played with such things ? Any advice will be nice !

2025.01.24 13:11 atthebrowndesk Still can't build ramp without first building a floor or wall
I'm aware of the DBNO F bind issues and solution. However, that's not relevant to me because I'm a lefty and my build binds are on the other side of the keyboard. I use side buttons 5 and 4 on my mouse for walls and floors and the letter O for my ramps. I can place immediately a wall or floor and then place a ramp but I can't place a ramp first. In fact, once I leave build mode - for example - when I'm in a battle and I've built up and I bring out a weapon, or heal up - I'm reverted back to the same situation, I can't build a ramp unless I place a floor or wall first. Obviously, this is no good if I'm already boxed up and I need to build up. I'm at a loss as to how to remedy this. I'm now forced to play zb only. Any solution welcomed.

Am a fresh overseas law grad and am curious about how much value employers place on a law degree when hiring for non legal roles. For roles in corporate such as consulting, compliance, or other related areas (not keen on finance though) ā does having a law degree (even without full qualification as a lawyer) carry much weight? Do employers view it as an asset, or is it less relevant compared to other qualifications or experience? Asking because Iām finding it hard to figure out what roles I can even apply for with just a law degree because itās such a specialised qualification and Iām not too sure if itās applicable to many corporate rules outside of legal practice
Im casting a wide net here but Iād love to hear insights from those in the industry, HR professionals, or anyone whoās navigated a similar path.
