Greetings! Into fantasy? Drama? A twisted tale of sorted crime? Well then, maybe I can pull your interest! I'm Raven, 22 years old, GMT (in case that's a deal braker), and I'm looking for a modern fantasy style rp! I tend to write 400-1000+ words per response. I prefer to go up and down depending on the scene, but generally, I'm on that upper limit.
Now on to the role! I am looking to play a hitman.. or rather, two. A particularly rare and intriguing species of being who has not one defined gender, but two, sharing the same body. Both have defined wants, desires, and personalty. At least, these two in particular do.
With little hope for real work, Wraith and Genesis use their special talent to be killers for hire. Or any job with a high enough price for that matter. From crime scene, clean up to robberies, and yes, even murder. As far as anyone else is concerned, they are two people. Working together as the perfect team, if only they knew the truth.
In a world where creatures skulk in the shadows, they remain hidden. Long gone the dark ages of magic beings running amock, they fit In the best they can.
Our role would begin with a date. Genesis is waiting at a small restaurant for their date to arrive. They are running late. Where shall it go from here?
I hope I peaked your interest! I'm open to talking about where it'll go from here. You could he the date, or not. An assassin? Fellow hitman? Simple bystander? Robber? Sky's the limit, and I absolutely cannot wait to see where it goes.

Hey all, I have a bit of a sad concern. I worked for a local boutique for half of the year and I'm now trying to get together my documents for tax season. Unfortunately, my former boss has landed in the hospital and is not mentally clear enough to work her business anymore. Likely, she never will be again. I am distraught as she and I were very close but I'm unsure what my next steps should be.
I believe there was another person in charge of our books but I have never been in touch with her and don't know who to reach out to in the meantime. Is there some other authority I can ask for assistance with this?
I'm in Ohio if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any advice!

2025.01.24 19:33 Maleficent_Specific4 From P0302 to P0300 code on 2012 Chevy sonic 1.8L
Hello.i had vehicle shaking and I was getting a p0302 code for cylinder 2 misfire on a 2012 Chevy Sonic LT 1.8L. I changed all the spark plugs with new double platinum plugs. Now I am getting P0300 random cylinder misfire.
I only replaced the plugs but not the coils. I wiped off the coils and put this boot protector grease in them. I spoke with a mechanic and he said that I should’ve replaced the coils as well and that that is most likely the issue. Is that correct?
Cylinder two also had oil in the well which I cleaned out with a napkin. But I’m sure there’s a seal leak also.
Appreciate any help.

For me, the rigged fight in the Temple on Thessia answers these three questions that I have on the top of my head;
1.) What is the real reason why we're not allowed to carry heavy weapons around with us like in Mass Effect 2?
Answer: So that Mass Effect 3 has an excuse to explain why we can't shoot down the stupid gunship, despite shooting down several in the previous game.
2.) What is the real reason why we are forced to take Liara with us on this mission when Liara never showed any real emotional connection to the planet before?
Answer: So that the space ninja has someone light enough to throw. He never throws the other squadmate.
3.) What is the real reason why we don't get to have a cool Krogan squadmate and we have a pathetic human substitute?
Answer: So that whoever the space ninja throws Liara at can get knocked over and capacitated and can't simply shrug off the impact.
Can you folks think of any other questions that got answered by this rigged fight?

I'm an NBA fan in general. Obviously, there are team rivalries, but as a pure hoops fan, I don't see the point of hating a team, so I'm in many teams' subreddits. I have to say it's extremely ironic how this team, which is clowned on by others as a "poverty" franchise, has the only fans that are happy. Warriors fans, who won four championships in ten years, are crying. Boston fans, who just won, are trying to trade Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. People here seem patient and optimistic. I saw a post a month ago happy to have D'Lo be the "tank commander." It might be a reflection of the city itself.

2025.01.24 19:33 Ok_Opinion6765 My boyfriend’s grandma doesn’t want him spending the night at my house. What do I do
So me (28F) and my boyfriend (29M) have been together for a year. He has always been incredibly close with his grandma. She basically raised him. We met in med school in NY, both moved there from out of state. His grandma moved to NY to be with him, as his father and his grandma don’t always get along (and she was living with him before). Also I should note, his grandma only speaks Spanish and I do not speak any Spanish so we have trouble communicating at all. His grandma has made comments about me in front of me (which I cannot understand as she says it in Spanish, but he has told me after), such as that I might be using him because he would make me breakfast or coffee in the mornings that I would spend the night at his place. She said she never sees me doing any of that for him. Which is completely not true, I love him and I show him the same hospitality when he stays over at my place, when she is not there. He did defend me. She now will not let him spend the night at my place ever anymore because “she is afraid to be alone at night by herself.” That I can understand from a woman’s point of view, however the landlord lives in the apartment directly next door to the point we can hear eachother through the walls. My boyfriend also often travels home to visit his father in the state he lives in and his grandma refuses to go because they don’t get along. In this case, she prefers to stay home by herself for multiple days/weeks in that case. But one night if he stays at my place it’s a problem. I brought this up to him, and he said “well I’m going to visit family so she’s not going to tell me I can’t.” What does that make me? I don’t mind staying at his place to make his grandma happy but it almost feels like she doesn’t like me as this feels targeted towards me. Am I being dramatic? We’ve talked about marriage many times and I love him so much, and we plan to move in together after school, but he wants her with him. She has said she will not live by herself and she will live with him till her last days, so I’m worried about how this will turn out in the future as she’s already shown me she’s not my biggest fan. She is 10 years younger than my grandma, she’s fully capable, her husband passed away 20 years ago, so she has really no one else. I do feel bad feeling this way, because I know how much she loves my boyfriend and just doesn’t want to lose him, as he’s all she has. I want her to like me so bad but there’s been multiple instances (more than the ones I’ve mentioned) where I’ve felt judged and not welcome with her, and like she doesn’t want me and my boyfriend together. I feel super uncomfortable around her. I’m Just not sure how to handle this. He used to stay at my place sometimes, and she would only make comments if it was 3 or 4 days in a row. But now it’s one night she won’t even allow. Should I just let this go and suck it up? Idk if I’m blowing this out of proportion or not.

 | Hi everyone So my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for quite some time and I've decided today that I'll take an early detection pregnancy test seeing as I've missed my period for 2 days. I've used the ClearBlue digital test and the result came up 'not pregnant'. We decided to open the test up to look inside and take out the batteries before disposing and we saw 2 lines on the test strip... I'm not sure what to think. I took three other tests from our local pharmacy ( 1 early detection and 2 normal ones). The early detection came out positive and the other two came out negative.
