My allocated 2025 RAV4 hybrid XLE (+ weather and convenience package) arrived today! I'm going into the dealership tomorrow to pick it up. MSRP is $37,639, OTD is $41,221.
Any tips for negotiating at the dealership? Is it possible to ask for a few more hundred off MSRP (it's sort of near the end of the month)? I can pay all cash if I need to; my plan was to do that if I can get better than 5% financing. Any advice for me?

Hey there,
in our current project we use the angular i18n package for localization.
We have multiple CRUD views to manage multiple entities.
So far we used dedicated custom ID's for almost all places but recently the translators kindly complaint about having to translate the same terms. Which is understandable.
The Idea I currently have is to create a EntityTranslationConst for each of those CRUD Modules per entity which would live in the utility layer. For Example:

entityLabelSingular: $`:singular|The label a single Order Entity@@OderEntityLabelSingular:Order`
entityFieldLabelOrderNumber: $`:capital casel|The label for the order number field of orders@@OrderEntityFieldLabelOrderNumber:Order Number`
}
The plan would be to use those to dynamically add the translation to multiple places. For example: "Add " + OrderTranslations.entityLabelSingular etc...
Also use them for column labels at lists, form input labels etc...
I would not (yet) use those for sentence case terms...
I also thought about simply not defining custom ID's and just tag the places with i18n... But I think having IDs for those would be better. No ID's might be more suitable for even more generic terms like "Cancel", "Edit", "Add", "Save"... but even there IDs might just be superior...
Is there a way to reuse/share terms better?!
Sadly I did not find any good examples yet on how to do such things... Any tips?! How do you guys deal with those?!

I'm currently Lvl 27, and it feels like I just level up around the same time every in-game year. Doesn't matter if I've been super productive or completely lazy, I always seem to just randomly level up.
What are the actual mechanics of this?

Not happy, just funny. As a kid, I loved the spiderman movies. The Toby maguire ones. There’s 2 scenes in particular that I never really thought about until becoming a parent.
The 2 burning building scenes.
There’s a mom standing on the sidewalk by a burning building, completely unscathed, screaming and crying "save my baby! My baby's still in there!" Which I used to think was so emotional and sad. But now? I'm like, bro. You’re completely unscathed, not a speck of ash or dust on you, meaning you left the building when it was barely on fire. You weren't pulled out half conscious by firemen, you just walked yourself out. So lady, you’re telling me you noticed a fire, and instead of literally walking to the next room and grabbing your baby before you left, you just booked it and left your baby there and hoped for the best?
There’s another scene in the next movie that's basically the same thing but with a little girl.
Either way, it's just so wild to me. I feel like it's a very very common trope in movies, with an emotional mother crying and begging someone to save her baby from a fire. Like dude! WHY DID YOU LEAVE WITHOUT YOUR BABY IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
(This is all in good fun, I know the scene exists to set up spiderman to be a hero, not to highlight a realistic experience. I just thought it was funny and worth sharing)

I basically finished soldering up my new totem and realized i soldered one of the boards to the wrong side. I got some solder wick and have been working on it for awhile, but i feel like im just destroying the board at this point :(. Any recommendations? I have a spare microcontroller, but i was planning on using it for the dongle. The worst part is the pads in the underside of the board i can barely get the wick in there.

I originally didn’t want to post and lurk here that much anymore because I realised it’s really making things worse instead of better but I’m really curious about this: Sooo this stupid phobia is "just" one part my messed up mental health, I also struggle with general anxiety and OCD (in therapy for all of it) and whenever I have a good day where none of these things bother me too much and I experience something that could be considered good I start to spiral in the evening and end up feeling worse than before… Like for some reason I just can’t grasp that anything could actually go well and get convinced that something bad will happen (at the moment it’s mostly related to my emetophobia but I’ve had it with other things too). Example: Had a relatively good day today, helped a friend with a project for uni and was super nervous at first but it actually was pretty fun and I even did some things i wouldn’t have expected from me (had to use a public bathroom, ate at the cafeteria …) and all of that made me feel good and more confident than usual but at some point negative thoughts just took over again more and more to the point I ended up freaking out over a strand of hair accidentally getting into my mouth and that it will ruin everything good I experienced cause it could make me sick… I’ve been in therapy since autumn but I don’t know what to do about this annoying chain of thoughts, it happens almost subconsciously, did anyone else ever struggle with this kind of feeling?

Im Bored on a friday lets see who guesses correctly.
Alright so a small description about me, im a VERY introverted and private person, but I know how to act like an extro if needed, but thats usually followed by a few weeks, sometimes months of isolation. I enjoy doing stuff like reading, and being in “Nature”
I prefer Media that has a deep story, rather than the flashy type stuff. Im prefer sitting in darkness, because the light hurts my eyes, im pretty much nocturnal at this point.
I hide parts of my personality depending on who im around, none of these side of me are “fake” I just choose to repress when the need be.
Im often observing everything, one of my skills is being able to pick up on peoples reactions to small things, I can usually get a guage on peoples personality pretty easily, not gonna go into detail about how I’m able to do that its not really important.
Lastly if there’s a group or a croud of people, im most likely the one sitting off to the side or in my own corner not interacting with anyone unless somebody approaches me really
Some of the photo’s might be more help than the actual description, unless I removed them idk, one hint I may or may not be a slightly unhealthy version of my type

Bonsoir, je trouve que les gens n'arrêtent pas d'essayer de chercher le 'clash' maintenant, au lieu d'essayer de répondre de façon argumentée. Au bout d'un moment, j'en ai marre. Je ne sais pas encore la raison. Je sais que beaucoup de personnes disent que c'est pour l'ego, d'autres disent que c'est pour terminer rapidement le débat, car ceux qui font ça, la plupart du temps, n'ont pas d'arguments. C'est vrai, le fait de faire ça permet vite de terminer une discussion, tout en étant sûr d'avoir tous les gens de son côté, alors que rien ne dit qu'il a raison. Je trouve ça complètement déplacé. Et vous, vous en pensez quoi ?
