2025.01.24 13:00 NoSense9521 Very weird dream about a witch “hunting” me
So I JUST had another weird dream that woke me up right now and I wanna write this before I forget anything . This one started out ok I thought I made a new friend and the friend for some reason I can’t remember I think it was maybe in order to come to her house or something I can’t remember though but she said she had to “hunt me” and I’m like “hunt me?”She’s like yea I’ll count to 300 and you run as fast and as far as you can and I’ll be able to find you. So to make this shorter after asking a lot of questions for some reason I actually do it. I start running just thinking it was some sort of game. I get far away until I’m at a very large tree so I start to climb it thinking it’s no way she’ll find me there. So as I’m getting to the top it’s like my survival instinct finally kicks in and tells me that if she finds me she’s gonna kill me and that this isn’t just a game. Like why else would she be “hunting” me? So I start going back down the tree bc now I’m scared and this isn’t a game of hide and seek anymore. So I ran home. For some reason she wouldn’t hurt me if I was around people she was trying to get me alone again or wait until I came out alone. So I didn’t. I went to my room and it was evidence that she had been there. It was like she was able to watch me and knew what I was doing. I tried telling my mom but she thought I was crazy and said she just wants to watch tv. I felt like my decisions were being watched so I start asking my family members to book us flights out of the country with my money and just not to tell me where they picked. No one was taking me serious. (I guess no one wanted a free vacation) At some point I found out that if I wear white she can’t harm me at all so I put on a white jumpsuit. This is where the dream gets trippy. I couldn’t see the “witch” but I could hear her voice. She put a spell on me that rhymes and I actually remember some of it. It went “someone you love will die if you’re still in white by the end of the day If you wear red 2 days straight, you’ll be dead just the same (then she says something about polka dots and other colors but I couldn’t remember them all and I guess that was the point to confuse me so idk what to wear except the next color she says) If you want to end this charade, it’ll be black that ends this game
So now I’m freaking out I try to tell my mom again. This time my mom believes me and asks how I got in this situation I’m like idk I didn’t know what she was. It makes the witch angry that my mom knows and she starts threatening to hurt my mom. I don’t play about my mom. So I go full attack mode. I run out of the house in black. The witch doesn’t show up though, maybe bc she realizes I’m PISSED atp. and ready to fight. I start screaming “come out I’m ready” bc I’m ready to get this over with. I have no plan but to try to beat her to death with my bare hands, which is crazy bc irl i own several weapons needless to say this person has magical powers though so not sure how much help that would actually be. So anyway she just doesn’t show up. I go back in. I tell my mom and my mom tells me that the witch has some sort of box on top of our neighbors house and if I can get to it and destroy it the witch will die. At first I’m like mom your crazy what does that box have to do with that witch? But then I remember my mom is the smartest person I know and I trust her so I’m like what do I have to lose? So I leave out trying to get to it. This makes the witch show up. She did not want me to get to whatever the box was. She’s running after me and that’s when I wake up. This is definitely up there for top weirdest dreams I’ve had.

For about 7 years now, I have dealt with unexplained dizziness which developed horrible anxiety and panic disorder for me.
I was legitimately sent to the ER twice for incredibly bad panic attacks and went once on my own accord for sudden vertigo. The first time I went is when I started on this journey of unexplained anxiety and dizziness.
I’ve done therapy, CBT, cleared by a cardiologist, ENT, started wearing glasses for my very uneven visual fields in my eyes, head CT, countless labs and everything always came up normal. I’ve stumped two therapists with the anxiety because I don’t really have any heavy trauma, I had a great childhood with supportive parents and I still have a strong support system. I’m finally seeing a neurologist next month.
I have started to an attribute a lot of my issues to my neck, since my neck and upper back are insanely tight (per my massage therapist, they feel like “concrete”). But I just found this sub and it’s like every single one of these posts explain exactly what I’ve been going through for years. It’s not like “oh a few things match up,” it’s legitimately every single symptom.
It explains why Zoloft helped me tremendously from 2019-2021. I eventually came off due to side effects. 2023 I went back on SSRIs, but I tried Lexapro and it honestly made my panic attacks so much worse. I’m at the point with my anxiety where mentally I am fine, but physically the crazy panic hits hard unprovoked and seemingly out of nowhere. I’m currently on lamictal which helped so much, but my night time anxiety and persistent dizziness have reared their head, and we added Buspar yesterday. I know Buspar can be hit or miss, but SSRI side effects always outweigh.
Anyway, this group has been insanely enlightening and I hope my neurologist helps me out with this diagnosis because I’m 90% certain I have this. 7 years and I feel I might finally have an answer.
