 | I live in a tropical but relatively dry area (Brazilian savannah or Cerrado) and this is the first time I’ve seen a mushroom irl. We’ve had multiple days of heavy rainfall these weeks and I noticed this guy growing up on a corner of the house, beside a door. I alerted my grandpa to this (I’m an avid user of this subreddit so I know mushrooms mean water damage) but he told me it was because the door was letting water in and making it humid, and that it would die after the rains stop (which should be in about 2 months). 2025.01.24 14:36 Awkward_Warning_230 Why is the native Tidal app inferior to Tidal Connect on Eversolo DMP-A8?
This makes no sense, I know. But, when I use the native Tidal app on the Eversolo A8 it sounds like crap (compressed, lack of dynamics, artificial). Whereas, using the Tidal Connect on the A8 and my iPhone via Airplay the sound is significantly better. Settings are both Max/HiRes so there's no difference there. The native app is via wired ethernet vs. Tidal Connect via Airplay, so theoretically wired is better than wireless, but, in my case, it isn't.
Anybody care to explain or speculate why I'm hearing a difference?

I stopped in at a grand opening for a new Kroger in Plano (I needed coffee creamer lol) and was wandering around and there are two DCC here- not positive if they are current or alumni. But there was a little boy who wanted his picture with them and it was honestly so adorable. He was so happy haha. They were super sweet to him! I’ll try to figure out who they are and report back.

Hey all! I thought I would reach out here to ask for some advice on an issue I’m having lately! I’ve really been coming into my own as an instructor. I did my first round of YTT at a power flow-specific studio (I also instruct there now). But when I audition for a slower tempo class type, I can still feel myself going too quickly (power flow pace or just slightly slower). I’ve tried adjusting playlists to help me stick to a slower pace, stayed mindful, tried slowing down when I catch myself speeding up but it progressively ramps back up and kind of throws off the vibe I’m working to keep. This would be less of an issue if I was doing the practice with the students, but I’m really big on physical assists and only demoing when it’s appropriate/a complicated flow, so I thought I’d see if anyone on here had any recommendations?
