I am moving to Korea in a few months, and looking at getting a place in Helio City, Song-pa, Seoul. I am wondering if anyone is or has lived there and willing to share their experience. While it’s massive complex, I like that it has everything within like gyms, resident restaurant, cafe, and such. I walked around the complex last month during my visit to Seoul and it seemed nice. I am a Korean American and speak Korean fluently, so will not have any cultural issues. I am not looking for real estate advice just first hand living experiences. Thanks!

2025.01.24 17:51 Turbulent-General-30 Infrared heaters and dimmers - mixing manufacturers
I have a couple of Infratech 5200W 240V infrared heaters for my porch, and want a dimming solution. Bromic has a 2-channel dimmer (Bromic Affinity Smart Heat Dimmer Control) that handles 6000W per channel, with built-in wifi control using a smartphone app. Exactly what I'm looking for. Cost is $1024, which is less than 1/2 what I'd pay for Infratech's dimming solution.
Problem is Bromic says their dimmer warranty would be voided if used with Infratech heaters. I cannot see how there would be an issue, seems that these heaters are simple resistive loads and the dimmer shouldn't care what nameplate happens to be on the heater element. But I could be wrong! And it has me concerned that Bromic would use this as an excuse to deny a warranty claim for any dimmer product failure, unrelated to the heaters that are being controlled.
Question: is there any reason to think that a different brand heater could actually damage the dimmer? What is the risk here?

Often I am developing software for a board which also has wires attached to it from a breadboard. I'll notice a bug, and then while trying to solve it, go through a lot of small changes to the software and wiring. Often I lose track of the effects of these small changes. e.g. Did the output of the software change because of change x, y, or z? Or was it something else that incidentally changed at the same time as one of these steps, but I didn't notice/measure it?
Do you all have any tips for debugging software quickly, but more deterministically?
Some of my own tips are, - I like to swap things that are supposed to be identical. e.g. PCBs, software builds, wiring, PC that connects to the embedded device, the person clicking buttons on the UI, or rest of the environment that the board is in. If two things are supposed to behave identically but there's a difference between them, now I know what area to look at.
- Sometimes I duplicate code to create multiple tests. That way I can re-run the previous unchanged code to see if it's different from the new version. I suppose I could just version every change w/ a separate git commit, but I haven't done that.
- I have a vague idea that two views which are useful for debugging are a log view (i.e. timelime of events that occured) and a state view (a row of test results in a spreadsheet showing all the inputs/outputs for one test. This is useful see that 'oh, variable X has been in all it's possible states with no change in the output, so X must be independent of the bug I'm seeing'.)

5-6 months ago I knew nothing of perfumes..relatives give me something I wear it & that's it... And then one day I sniffed "wildstone edge" which led one to another now I'm here In this endless loop of never ending desire ... . I came into here blindly not knowing the horrors of this sub , this journey has been very mentally draining for me . For the past few months I'm spending 24/7 searching , watching reviews , comparing fragrances , houses , clones .... While being 100% broke .. seeing all of you post everyday from designer to niche to some people saying "it's cheap just get the OG one it's only 7k" to people sharing their collection worth lakhs...and me not being able to afford a 1000rs is making me feel terrible and disgusted . I can't stop I've shortlisted around 30+ fragrances now and it's growing more and more everyday..maybe someof you guys can get me but this feeling of unacomplishment , feeling like a loser all the time ... And this mentall strain I'm experiencing being in this sub is somewhat too much for me , I've wasted half of study break for my sem exams in sub watching reviews ..seeing jeremy saying pow pow and curly fragrances saying sexy dirty bastard to that guy with glasses promoting everyshit house saying it's better than OG .. It's been fun but my mom says it's too much .
It's just personel thing that I wanted to share & please don't comment mean things .. For the broke boys being new in this sub , find another hobby pls Bye

A long, long time ago I carried a gun as part of my job. I believed that only trained professionals should have guns, and I believed it was the responsibility of those trained professionals to protect and serve everyone else.
I left that world, and my personal gun sat untouched in a safe for many years. During that time, I learned that those trained professionals, who I used to be, don't actually have the obligation to help or protect you. And that in some places, they just do not come, they do not show up.
Then I lost a loved one to a gun. I didn't blame the gun, but I did blame an irresponsible gun owner. I bemoaned the easy availability of guns, and I was pressured by loved ones to get rid of my gun. But I felt I was different, and my own gun was too precious to give up.
Our national government took a dark turn, and I realized folks that I love are at risk. I dusted off my gear and starting training again. Bought a few more guns. Dipped my toe into the NFA world. I read about guns and gear and tactics again. Wow, so much has changed.
Now I learn that my state has proposed a bill that will effectively make gun ownership financially impossible. (IYKYK) And I feel threatened. I have time and money invested in gun ownership and skills, it's become a meaningful hobby that I enjoy, and they make me feel safe.
Even ignoring the personal protection issue, I tried to imagine if the government suddenly told me any important hobby, be it lifting weights, woodworking, gardening, etc., was no longer allowed.
So I think that now I truly understand why so many right-leaning folks feel so attacked when Dems talk about gun control.

Okay, I’m waiting for hubs to come get me from the hospital.
On Tuesday night I had night 3…4….5? (Not sure) of pain in my abdomen that was pretty bad that escalated to severe, even for me. I seriously debated whether it was worth it to go to the ER.
Fortunately I went. Turns out it’s was a severely infected gallbladder that could have ruptured, and potentially kill me. It’s Friday, and they’re finally discharging me because they really wanted me on IV antibiotics for that long. Plus I get to take even more antibiotics orally at home.
So don’t be a me. If your pain is different or “off” get it checked. Just because your used to pain does mean that it’s smart to ‘tough it out.’

What kind of consumable chews are you giving your puppy? My 12 week golden retriever has been a velociraptor lately, and her chew toys only keep her occupied for 5ish minutes at a time. I’ve tried bulky sticks, frozen carrots, and frozen celery with peanut butter. My issue is I try to only give her one of those options per day as I also usually give her a lick mat. I’m worried if I give too many consumable chews to help with her teething, we might run into some tummy issues. Any thoughts?
