Looking for some advice from some more knowledgeable Mercedes folks. I have owned Mercedes and know how to care for them and always stayed well up on maintenance. I have been in the market for a 2013 SL 550.
I found one somewhat near me that is absolutely gorgeous and very fair priced (at a dealership). I am just a bit concerned with the miles. It has 136k miles on it.
I made the two hour drive to look at it. It looked great and drove awesome. Dealership has some records of service done to the vehicle over the years.
I have a bit more budget to work with in my purchase but I am really considering this one based on how close it is to me and paint. It’s meeting a lot of my criteria but for some reason the mileage is my only fear.
I should note that this will not be driven all year round. It will be garaged during winter months.
Any advice or SL 550 knowledge is welcomed!

Hoi allemaal. Van de week had ik hier een dilemma geplaatst over “onder de tafel” bijbetalen van een symbolisch bedrag van 2500 euro boven op ons bod om onder de nhg-grens te blijven en toch de kopers tegemoet te komen die al 25k gezakt waren.
De casus was dusdanig specifiek dat ik het op een gegeven moment verwijderd heb omdat ik bang was dat het wellicht herkend zou worden en kwaad bloed zou zetten (irrationele stressvolle periode zeg maar 😆) maar de reacties hebben erg geholpen!
Update: Uiteindelijk hebben we helaas een enorme inschattingsfout gemaakt. We hebben het in eerste instantie geweigerd en zijn bij ons eindbod gebleven. De kopers waren dusdanig ontdaan dat de makelaar moest doorgeven dar alle vertrouwen weg was en de onderhandelingen per direct stopten. Ook toen we alsnog aanboden het bedrag over te maken was de deur volledig dicht. Zo zie je maar dar perspectief erg belangrijk is.. je kunt als zien als mensen die met een flinke overwaarde nog wat geld eruit willen halen van 2 starters en hier niet mee akkoord gaan en denken dat je het dan ook wel kunt kopen of als vooral een emotionele keuze en teken van good will waar je iets voor terug wil, symbolisch dan. Het tikkie van 2500 euro was dusdanig symbolisch dat het vooral een emotionele keuze was als blijk van waardering dat ze in prijs gezakt waren en voor ons rekening wilden houden met de aankoopprijs onder de NHG van 450.
We balen van onze bluf en inschattingsfout want we zijn nog nooit zo dichtbij een koophuis geweest. Bod was immers geaccepteerd, alleen nog 2500 eu. We balen van onszelf maar hebben er van geleerd. Ergens mooi dat we ons aan onze principes hebben gehouden maar je hebt alleen jezelf ermee zo blijkt ;)

 | Not my find, one of my friends found this several years ago digging an electrical conduit to his shed in Connecticut. He knows nothing about artifacts, but was astute enough to grab it when he saw it in a shovel full of dirt. Seems to be a crude blade, although perhaps may be a late stage preform. Doesn’t appear to be any particular identifying characteristics present. Material I would guess is Normanskill Chert? Not sure it’s an exact match, but it certainly appears to be some type of chert. I have a 23’ 1500 at4 with the LZ0 Duramax, went in for an oil change in late November of 24’. While there they discovered that the oil pan and transfer case were leaking. Fixed it, picked the truck up thought everything was good. Come Christmas time drive to see my mom, truck leaks in their brand new driveway. So leak wasn’t fixed. Top off the oil, which wasn’t much lost, drove it home and to the dealer it went. After a few days, they inform me that it was leaking from pretty much every seal it could. They fix that, I get the truck back and it throws me into limp mode because of an exhaust leak. So back to the dealer to fix that and clear the limp mode on Monday of this week (1/20). They called me Wednesday (1/22) to pick it up saying it’s all taken care of. Literally pulled out the service center, 55mph max speed warning comes on so right back in. So today (1/24) got a text from my service advisor, more or less saying that there’s blowby. Which inevitably means a new motor. At this point I don’t have faith that this will be my last issue with it, once that warranty is up I’m screwed. Any, help would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I download a torrent (even if it is from different trackers) a virus is generated with the name of the parent folder and .exe file extension.
I ran malwarebytes and it detected several outbound and inbound RTP detections, from different IP and ports, but only when qBittorrent was open.
Running qbittorrent 5.0.3 x64 on Windows 10
I mostly downloaded stuff from a popular anime tracker. Always media files, never executables.
Any ideas what is happening?

In October of 2023 my divorce was finalized. I have been receiving overpayment for a year, and need to get this stopped, as i am worried about losing my benefits, and need to setup some sort of payback program. It has been a tough year and a half with a divorce, stepdaughter died from fentynal, and lost my mom last March. Not sure where to go from here.

Clutch was a great character in the IDW Sonic Comics. However, his "hostile takeover" plan was underutilized, and should've happened in another arc, one WITHOUT "Riders" in its name. What do you guys think?
Also, Dr. Starline's "Operation: Remaster" could've honestly been done better if it was turned into a saga (similar to the Metal Virus), and we could've seen a better defeat of Dr. Starline. Do you guys agree with me on that?
