This post is mainly for US owners. I had a 2017 Guilia. I loved it except for the now well known teething issues of that model year. I’m now in a Mercedes C class. And…I hate the maintenance costs for a car that doesn’t measure up to an Alfa. The insurance is insane. Tbh it just pisses me off now. I know the dealer network is bare for Alfa, so how are the independent shops with your cars? Is anyone having common issues with the prefacelift models? I loved how my Alfas were and Mercedes is making cheap cars now that cost more and more to maintain every year. I’m really just looking for an open discussion about ownership now and why you’d keep your Alfa over other brands. Thanks.

I am trying James Hoffman’s French press technique. I am grinding a medium roast beans at 20 A. The coffee is nice. Almost no bitterness. No acidity or sourness. I am tempted to grind it a level coarse.

For you late game nerds:
Do you guys plan out the entire planet for its specific purpose? As I keep playing, I get better at making sectors of certain production hubs, but there’s always that spaghetti effect in some spots or redundant open space.
So I have yet to use a blueprint or make one. Would you guys recommend? I want to learn how to be more efficient, but some blueprints feel like cheating.
Any tips? Love y’all.

Have a cabinet built in with outlets flush to the dry wall but recessed back the 1/2 inch from the wood cabinet. I posted yesterday and people recommended box extenders, which wouldn’t fit the box, I got a plastic mud frame that’s 1/2 inch, seems to cover all the wood, is this acceptable?

I've had my cat for 3 yrs. He acts completely normal other than sometimes he shuts one ear randomly and shakes his head. He eats and drinks and runs and plays. My question is, do cats just sometimes do this or is this something I should be concerned about? I'm so grateful for your knowledge and any help you can give me. I smell his ear and look at it and it's fine. Image doesn't scratch it. He does have bad anxiety and so if I don't have to take him to vet, I would be happy to not bother him that way but I also want to take care of him as best as I can. Thank you!
