Current teacher looking to switch to careers. Was wondering if it’s worth it to spend an extra year getting an I&C engineer degree or to go with a 2 year Instrumentation Tech associate.
Would getting an I&C engineering degree start me off in a better position / help me climb the latter and open up better opportunities? Or Would getting an associate in Instrumentation and getting into the job field quicker be better for me?
In the Houston area, main goal is to get a better paying job that I can progress and have better opportunities in the future as well as get out of the high school classroom.

The discussion as of late regarding this case has been pretty impressive regarding Jennifer’s case.
So I’ve been thinking a lot about the nature of where the case currently stands, what we know, and maybe most importantly: what we could know.
The case is 19 yrs old.
Part of the family’s “progress” with gaining access to a large portion of the case file from LE was having them officially classify the case as cold. It was a critical step for the family getting access to a large portion of the case file from LE.
Here’s the thing: it could also be an opportunity for us to get more information as well.
Information falling under the guise of FOIA requests cover documents, emails, text messages, camera footage, maps, studies (cell phone?), witness statements, etc.
From 7/11 surveillance that someone mistakenly identified her on to perhaps texts messages from her cell phone the morning she left Rob’s for work, there’s a trove possibilities that could be on the table. As the cliche goes, “doesn’t hurt to ask - all they can do is say no.” As the public, we’re perfectly within our right to request any of this information.
I personally have no experience in this area. From what I’ve gathered, there’s somewhat of an art to filing these requests. The more specific one can be in the request, the higher the likelihood of it being approved. The less interpretation left to LE, the better.
Just putting it out there - it could be an opportunity to seize the moment around a pretty impressive discussion in this subreddit as of late regarding this case.

Hi, my business has been struggling to find a good vendor to custom print us shirts. We're not primarily a clothes store, so we're looking to only offer premium, very high quality shirts with very nice fabric and long-lasting, high quality graphics.
We wouldn't want super big quantities, but a higher price isn't the end of the world. We just can't get the kind of quality we want out of someone like Queensboro.

Hi everyone,
I have been a tech/semi-tech but a noncoder Product Manager, I am starting to learn coding now outside of my job so that I can have my own tech/tech enabled startup someday. Although I have heard the arguments on both sides on the rise of AI and no code tools. All the tech CEOs are scare mongering from Salesforce to NVIDIA about not hiring or require SDE/SWEs. What's your opinion? Is it still worth learning to code. And how much time do you think it can take to learn to build something cool? Ofcourse I am familiar with basic syntax and have solved some extremely easy DSA questions(mostly by Python) Know Database languages though. But yeah wanted reddit's opinion on the situation, as I want to able to build on my own a bit more than a MVP of some webapp/AI Agent in the future!

Not sure what I should do here. I finally got a positive pregnancy test after my second IUI and two years of trying. I saw a faint line 11DPO and was beyond thrilled but quickly became worried when the line wasn’t progressing. My nurse ordered blood tests for me and things are not looking good.
15 DPO - 26 hcg 17 DPO - 45 hcg
I also have had some random spotting over the last few days and have some slight acheness on my right side (the side that I know I ovulated from)
After endlessly scouring the internet, it seems like this is going to most likely end in a chemical or ectopic. I saw a few success stories but it looks extremely slim. I’m terrified of an ectopic and am wondering if I should preemptively ask to terminate out of caution? My options of hoping it resolves on its own or wait until it gets to the point where I can physically tell I’m having an ectopic seems bleak.
Any advice on what you would do?
