 | it was thanks to this sub that I was able to finally get him, someone posted about a store that had a few-so thank you all!! I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to get one for years. if anyone is in my seat, have hope and watch the sub carefully for tips. the last pic is of all my dragons which I included as a testament to inflation and jellycat sizing changes lol. the dexter dragon I bought back in 2021 was a "large" size and $75. Hoping I can get reassurance… might just be postpartum hormones but having some regret on our baby girl name choice.
We just had our baby girl a few days ago and named her Willa, which is in the top 450-500 U.S. names range. I’ve never known anyone with the name but I think it’s on the rise, especially where we live in the Northeast. I think it’s a cute, simple, pretty name but I’m having second thoughts because (1) it’s a little more uncommon and (2) it’s a little rhymey with our last name. We’ve gotten some feedback that has made me feel self conscious about it and I don’t want to be setting up my daughter to not be taken seriously.
Anyone on here have a slightly more uncommon name and love it?
Anyone on here have a first and last name that are kind of rhymey? How do you feel about it?
I’m thinking of changing her middle name to be something more traditional that she could go by down the line in the event she hates her first name.

I know their kind of shawarma isn't anything special, but namimiss lang namin hehe — it had that salty, sweet and creamy complexity while also some highlights of the mixed veggies that can be easily bought in nearby convenience stores. We thought I should cook it at home instead.

hi all - this sub has been amazing for me as i try to sort through all the tile options for our bathrooms and floors
we have been hunting for the perfect tile for our primary bathroom (would be shower wall, bathtub surround and one other, non-wet, wall in the bathroom. my husband loves zellige (and i do, too! but i don't want it for my bathroom) and i was looking for a nice, calming ceramic or porcelain tile, but ultimately we both fell in love with this glazed brick from cle: https://www.cletile.com/products/new-california-fennel-brick-mto?sku=CA0005
it says it's shower wall safe but i'm wondering if anyone has experience with brick like this in a bathroom? obviously it would be properly sealed during installation, but i'm trying to avoid post-installation maintenance, if possible, and wondering if this could work.

Going through the convo, Cheng Weimin mentioned if they (general) were in trouble, then brought up Cheng Xiaoshi (specific) without being prompted, how he let him (specific) down, how he has a second chance to teach them (general) everything they missed before, and how they (general) hopefully will become like family. How dafuq does he know, as the speech is too on the nose for him not to know it's Cheng Xiaoshi!!!!

I feel like i should get one because humans in general are not trust worthy.Sorry if this sounds like a rant but I just needed to dump this somewhere as I feel depressive sometimes .I feel animals are too naive for this world and they are just simple being , you just provide them some love and care and they return you with loads of unconditional love and emotional support .The only thing which is stopping me to get one is the void you feel after they die which feels very daunting to deal with , I heard this from few pet owners I know and I also feel it would be. Currently keeping a resin printer in an unused bathroom but the smell takes awhile to go away. The window is a bit far but the toilet is right next to it. I read about the particles settles on the ground instead of going with the current of the air which is out through an open window so with that assumption if I vent into the toilet bowl then the particles should settle in the water. Don't have to completely get rid of the smell but as much as possible is better than none.
Is that feasible?
