I’m contemplating if I should send a thank you note after my interview. I don’t have the hiring managers’ email but I can get it from someone. Do you think this is appropriate since the hiring managers did not provide their email address to me? Initial communication was between me and the recruiter only and the recruiter was the one that set up the meeting.
Overall, how do you feel about sending a thank you note after the interview?

Finally added the 24-105 to my lineup. Took some test shots on a short walk today and I think it’ll do nicely. I have a bad habit of pixel peeping and it’s certainly not up to some of the primes but when you view the photo like a normal human it looks good to my eye.
I’ll take it on a short road trip tomorrow to test it out some more. It sits well on my R5 and even the R10.
Also I think cocaine would have been a cheaper habit to get into than photography lol.

So I’ve got a car that I still have about $17,000 in payments for and KBB priced my car around 8k-10k. So it I were to buy a car I’d either have to roll over the 7k-9k in payments and add that on top. Or I’ve been told that I could possibly Lease a new car with a lot of rebates and roll over my payments onto the lease. At the end of the lease I should just be able to walk away from all of it at $0. Which should I do? How long (If I do) should I lease the car for?

I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for literally over a year. My usual barber was cutting it way shorter (I just went here to get it touched up so it didn’t look super untidy while it was growing but they always shaved it when i asked them to just use scissors to tidy it up). So after growing my hair since about October I went to my sisters regular hair stylist today to get sorta like a pixie cut/wolf cut to allow my hair to grow into a nicer shape and allow me to grow up hair easier. She said she could do it no problem.
She completely butchered my hair. She cut the sides wayyyy shorter than what I asked for and cut my hair up and over my ears which I specifically told her I didn’t want when she asked me if she should cut it over my ears. I don’t think she really knew how to cut the style I wanted and just did it for the money/to keep my sister happy since she’s a regular client.
I’m actually really upset. I got so exited to have a haircut I could like and grow out and it’s so bad. I really want to just hide right now

The Canucks FO has severely mismanaged communications. From PR to press conferences it’s been very poorly handled imo.
The Petey - Miller thing was allowed to blow up. There was smoke and the team let it become fire. Could have easily squashed that with some fun PR / social media stuff.
When Miller returned he was not briefed on “be sure to thank the org for their support” - which he did not and raised eyebrows.
When Petey, Miller, Tochett and Hughes all spoke to the media on the same day the PR team failed to align them on the strategy - appears there was not one.
When Tochett separated Petey and Miller on the PP this HAD to be something they knew was going to fuel the fire.
When Zadorov says contract was ok, but didn’t like how some things were presented, this alludes to other communication strategy issues.
Doing interviews and press conferences that vaguely hint at everybody is for sale absolutely didn’t help the situation.
One of the most important things in marketing is to control the narrative. They lost control of it to the point players said it is an issue. How would you feel about coming back to work after a leave of absence to non stop discussions about how your team can’t get good value in a trade for you??
I believe this is lack of FO experience in a Canadian market amplified by a team performing radically below expectations.
This is not the only issue - an $11.6m guy “performing well defensively” is a pretty big deal - but I believe the negative storm around the team is a material issue that should be one of the easiest to avoid. Creating an environment where this adversity made the team stronger was a possibility and an effective comms strategy that took control of the narrative should have been part of it. That time has past and rather than fire sale it, I think they entire org needs to figure out how to be better, especially in the comms area.

2025.01.25 00:21 Btiel4291 How does matchmaking/losing XP in Halo Infinite Ranked work?
I play generally Ranked Snipers/Tactical depending on which is in rotation (insane to me that both don’t stay in, but that’s another rant) and I seriously can’t figure out how both matchmaking and the XP reward works?! Sometimes I win games with a KD above 2 and I get +8. Sometimes I get +15 for finishing 2nd on the team. So is performance irrelevant? Sometimes I’ll be put on a team with unranked players going against a team of people ranked higher than myself and get smashed and lose -15… multiple games in a row until I’m given a much more lopsided team. I mean from my experience it’s incredibly rare, in either game mode, that teams both make it into the 40s. It seems, that randomly at chance, one team is much more inclined to win then the other based on rank alone. In my head, I’ve chalked the inconsistent teams/seemingly randomly XP additions/subtractions to the fact that the Ranked player pool must be so abysmally low the servers are forced to throw varying ranks together??? There’s no consistency with the rewards given after a match regardless of winning, KD, or team score.

Hey all,
Relatively new-ish player still getting used to brewing.
I’m building [[Jinnie Fay]] as a typical go-wide token deck, with some tricks like burning opponents and buffing creatures with anthems.
The main strategy is building a wide board state, then dropping a game ender like [[Jetmir, Nexus of Revels]] or [[Moonshaker Cavalry]] to pull the win.
I’m looking for some assistance in making potential cuts, what my ramp package should look like, as well as a solid land base - as these are probably the things I struggle with most.
I already own most of the creature package, but looking to get dorks such as [[avacyn’s pilgrim]] , [[delighted halfling]] , [[birds of paradise]] , and [[Bloom Tender]] to aid in colour-fixing.
Any suggestions for staples that I should be using in this deck would be appreciated!

Hello,
I decided to log into my metamask wallet on a new computer I bought. So I entered my seed phrase. When my wallet opened up, I discovered that the account was different yet it contained some ETH which was a nice surprise.
The issue is that it did not contain as much ETH as was there before, nor did it contain any of my other assets... and the key was different as well; I tried to resolve this by adding accounts, I have 33 accounts and still none of them are my old key. How do I restore my old account?
The public key is still indicating that I haven't lost my portfolio if I go on etherscan, so I couldn't have deleted my account by mistake, and my seed phrase works so it must be Metamask right?
Please advise

I don't want to die. I want to disappear. I want to start over. I've already fucked up to much. People say they love me, how could they? I'm a loser. I can't keep a job. I struggle to feel understood or seen by anyone.
My partner says they love me but I'm not stupid, I can tell they're waiting for the perfect exit point. They care enough that they think if they left it would devastate me. It wouldn't, it's expected at this point and I wish they would just tell me the truth. I'm a miserable cunt and there's no reason to stay with me.
The harder I try to be happy and positive and the things that people want, the harder it feels I fail when the happy mask backfires. I don't understand how other autistic people are happy and I can't get anyone to understand me.
I want to be successful. I want to start my own coffee shop. I did coffee for 5 years before the place was bought and I got booted. I can't plan a business though. I don't know what I'm doing. I only got a GED. I'm stupid, but I've got people fooled, they tell me I am intelligent but I can't even figure my own self out.
I just want to disappear. And I wouldn't be sad if I did so permanently.
