Something I've noticed is sentimelone CPU/RAM utilisation is high after a reboot. Alot of clients are saying their PCs are slow and its almost always sentinelone causing it
Ive tried looking over the sentinelctl properties , can anyone recommmend any limits i could set in here to decrease resource usage. Maybe theres a way to limit usage when sentinelone updates too?
And whats the best way to deploy this across all preinstalled devices (I've set policies before but only using the sentinel policy override and per device in cmd)

My roomate told me that she wants her friend to move into my apartment essentially stating that they would take over my lease, without much consideration or choice for me. We are co-tenants, both clearly outlined as such on the lease [50/50 rent, lease, everything].
She did live in the apartment for 2 years before me (I've lived here 2 years now, her 4), so I understand the emotional feeling of ownership. I am 99% sure she cant make this decision for me, especialy because I am protected by tenant rights & specific tenant rights under rent-stabilized apartment.
I'm having a family member who is a lawyer take a look to make sure but any insight? BTW for context we get along totally fine, never violated anything, we've actually been friends for years. I'm fine with living with the subtle resentment because I could not get this deal in my neighborhood by a landslide, I'm saving for grad school, and just don't have any interest or intention in moving.
Will my right to renew be protected by the fact that I am stated on the lease as a cotenant/leesee?
Also I kn ow there is a slight possibility she could get in cahoots with the landlord or soemthing but I don't think she would do that, but if she went low like that ... I'm gonna fight for my rights.

2025.01.24 19:40 StackScribbler1 What is this communications protocol from a cooker hood microcontroller?
 | (Apologies if any of what follows is hopelessly naive, I am a complete noob at this specific stuff.) Recently I acquired a new cooker hood/extractor fan (Russell Hobbs RHGCH603DS for reference) and, because I am a fool, decided to see if I could control it via an ESP32. This was based on the control board having TxD and RxD pins, and a pretty limited function set. I hoped the SinoWealth SH79F326M microcontroller would be using something like UART, or at minimum nice clear signals which, even if I did not understand, I could spoof - but this seems not to be the case. So now I'm trying to understand what kind of signalling this is, and where to start trying to make use of it - either interpreting it, or spoofing it. Or, to figure out if this isn't possible with what I have on-hand. After posting in Esphome I ended up getting a cheap logic analyser, hooked it up to the board, and recorded the signals from both the Tx and Rx channels - with no buttons being pressed or active, it looked like this: 0.6 seconds of output from the controller. Tx is above, Rx below. I made a couple more initial screenshots of the data captured: https://imgur.com/a/5lvYwXw And following a request for snapshots at different levels of resolution, I made these: https://imgur.com/a/Eo5DGgu Here is another image of the individual high-low signals: Approximately 4us of the controller's Tx output, at which level individual high/low signals can be seen. (I should note all of this was captured with the control board removed and disconnected from the other boards in the hood. But as the board's LEDs and display reacted in exactly the same way as when it was connected, which suggests it wasn't reacting to any inputs from the other boards - however, I can't say this for certain.) Here are the main things which are confounding me:

I’m very very discourage with doing the LPN program and I have a chance to opt out of the anatomy course, and I spoke to one of the clinical director, and told me that I can opt out of anatomy course but would have to take a medical terminology course or exam. And the director told me he doesn’t know who does it I would have to talk to advisment which I did and all they did was give me a phone number to financial aid having to do with the course. Like what does that have to do with opting out of the course or who I can speak to take the medical terminology exam. Like they were not helpful at all I don’t know what to do.

Hi there, I have recently gained space to continue playing after 10 years on then 10 years off. Renovating a house at the moment means I'm going minimum budget for decent sound. I've picked up a Performance Percussion kit for £10 and have spent money on batter and reso heads for everything. I have now had the opportunity to get an alternative bass drum, both 20 inch, both in fair condition however this one is Linko branded.
I know both Performance Percussion and Linko are budget kits, but I was wondering how people feel on the comparison. I will try both, however I'm interested in people's experience with longevity and opinions on the brands. Thank you for your time.

Just graduated from university with a degree in computer science and I have been living with my parents and working part time in retail until I can get a “real” job, but called me a spoiled first world middle class brat but I could do this forever. I have absolutely no interest in pursuing a career, or any materialistic things, I could be content in a walkable city doing this or something else with my hands part time and reading, living with Roommates, hanging with friends, and pursuing inexpensive hobbies on my off time. In the first world it just seems like the economy is a financialized and digitized ouroboros that produces nothing of real value. It only exists to scam and exploit. When I walk into a Walmart or a Costco everything we sell seems so,, redundant and wasteful. All that labor just to produce the same products with different labels. And the stuff we sell isn’t even made here! It’s made half way across the world! How is it fair that a blue collar tradesperson, who is the only group of people that does anything of real value here, breaks their body working 6-6 5 days a week and some dork with a degree can do a 9-5 and make so much more? Any “real” job feels like I’m contributing nothing at best and scamming at worst. Why would I want a career in that? I feel like I just bought my degree, I didn’t earn shit. People tell me I’m smart but if I wasn’t born in the class I was I would have had no chance in getting that degree. It’s not a real accomplishment, enough to save me a life of “blue collar” hell, it just feels like it’s something my family bought for me. Totally unfair that I can live this life. Just wanted to rant a bit.
