 | Still have to replace the vent but really in love with how our bathroom turned out. It’s the only one we have in our little house and as much as I loved the pink tub and old tile (in the before picture) there was so much rot underneath, along with plumbing issues, and it couldn’t be saved. We had a contractor do the stuff we had no business doing, but my boyfriend and I tiled, did the bead board and wallpaper all by ourselves! I may have kinda messed up today. I had an interview at a company and I slipped up and told the recruiter what my current salary is. (95k) Now, I have a final interview with the same company next week and I’m almost positive I’m gonna get the job.
The funny thing is that at the end of today, my current manager called me and said he’s giving me a raise and my current salary is now actually 103k. What f**king timing am I right? Lmao
So now when they decide what number to offer me, not only are they gonna use the 95k that I initially gave them as a form of leverage, but it’s lower than my actual salary at the moment!
Any advice on how to navigate this so that I can maximize my salary offer would be appreciated!
