I'm trying to learn integration testing in a .net app and I ran into some weird issue that I don't understand.
Trying to initialize the HttpClient as a factory property (example 1) so I reuse the same instance across all the tests seems to cause an issue with the starting of the Postgres container.
If I remove this one line of code then there is no issue here (example 2) and the code continues normally.
Why would this one regular sync method call cause this issue?

Either hard skills like proper qualifications or training for specific jobs, or soft skills (interviews, confidence) or just person-specific advice.
Basically, what a "job centre" would theoretically provide if an extraterrestial alien or a human child saw the name of the building, but the real thing.
I referred myself to Futures Group Nottingham (very swanky website, well done them) a few weeks back, hoping they'd do courses or give in-person advice (like the old days, ie a few years ago, before everything became digital/telephone-based and detached from real contact) about what realistic options exist or how to deal with certain potential or real barriers.
But unfortunately and irritatingly all they responded with after a week was an email with links to Indeed, .govuk's jobsite, the NHS jobsite, NCC's jobsite and "you could consider using a recruitment agency to help you search and find opportunities" - lmao! I can't believe it. I could provide that same service to someone - maybe that should be my next job, or grift. It's like "day one of searching for a job when you can only think of the obvious ideas" information. They also gave an url to the National Careers Service, for the "East of England" (Norfolk, Essex etc).
Friday is a bad day to ask, since places will be closed over the weekend, but hey ho.

Mere words got me a perma ban while in a channel that baits scam callers. The scam caller said to the streamer some very vulgar threats, I gave my opinion of the scammers country (India) in chat and got banned permanently. This world got pretty sissified and we all know which generation caused it. However some chick bangs some dude live streaming and only gets a 7 day ban. She, after getting banned, claimed it was an unfair action against her. My kid learns what a bong is and what its used for on twitch and that is fine according to twitch policy!??! Yeah F Twitch, I ended my Amazon Prime and convinced my family and 90% of my relatives to end their Amazon accounts as well. They are evil and deserve nothing. Soon they will be why your city only has a few stores instead of many. BOYCOTT AMAZON

I'm curious as to what your writing paces are when it comes to longer works. Like once you've got a pretty good idea and some plot points you want to hit, whats your speed and timeline when making a more or less complete draft for a chapter or prewritten work?
I'm wondering cause I'm just about to start a pretty ambitious project (my first ever multi-chapter fic and first posting on A03), a four-installment series, with my word count goal for each part being around 75-100k words(between 15-25 chapters). I've got the overall plot outlines/structures and a couple dozen scenes I want to hit for each part of the series figured out and I'm about to start writing. I don't necessarily expect to lose my hyper-fixation, more special interest, on this as this is for a fandom I've loved my whole life, and don't expect my interest to fade away any time soon. Though it comes and goes as I got about 10 fandoms I'm in on the roster lol.
I'm hoping to have the first installment have a completed or mostly completed draft by April-May so I can show it to some beta readers before posting the chapters twice weekly. Should I lengthen my timeline? Am I being a little too naïve with my expected timeline? I'd overall love to hear about everyone's writing pace and process as I have never attempted something of scale before.

I feel all of the casual games that I’ve played recently are bots. I feel like normally they’re decently challenging? But this past week or so casual games have been so easy that my 7 year old sister who’s never played the game ever could probably win one. Is it have to do with queue times? Or is it something else? I just want to play with Pokemon that I enjoy without having to worry about losing in ranked because of bad team comps, sweaty enemies, and toxic teammates while also playing against REAL people. Is that too much to ask for???
