Hello,
Really hoping for advice. Sorry for the long read but I'll make it as clear and concise as possible. I really need some help here.

  1. Please let me know if what is happening with my charges is illegal
  2. Please let me know if what my lawyer is doing is unethical and/or illegal
I live in CO, where domestic violence charges are on the stricter side, and because mandatory arrests and charges must be made, it causes police to decide fault based on superficial data, usually trusting the caller and not looking deeper. This causes CO to have a rather high rate of not-guilty/innocent resolutions to DV cases.
First, quick summary of what happened:
Next, I will describe why I am asking 1 and 2 above.
1. I am pretty sure this is illegal, but please let me know.
-My worst convictions are a few 8+ year old misdemeanors for marijuana
-The police charged me with my driving records with my birthday, but someone else's criminal records from another state, who was a felon.
-I, despite having nothing but old pot charges, was charged with F Trespass, F METH (literally would never),and Misdameanor DV
Despite her doing the same and me being able to prove it, I technically did go there without permission.
Legally, she can be a hypocrite and call 911. Only old pot charges, no trouble in almost a decade, and no actual violence other than my unwanted presence in her apartment, in a place where I had belongings and was essentially my weekend home.
Has this ever happened before? Was this a repeated pattern? No. Was I some random guy who just started dating her? No we had been tied together for roughly 2 years. Did I actually have meth? 1000% honestly, NO
To me this max warrants a M for Trespass.
1st DA offered me a M-DV with 1 year supervised probation. I declined because I said even if DV is an M, we all know it's one of the worst ones for your record, for things like jobs and moving
He said this was a good deal, and encouraged me. I said no because I am not a this person, and that I am being charged under the wrong records
DA rather immediately notices the contradictions. I told him "look as bad as it is, I will take a year of unsupervised, no fines no service, with a M-trespass"
He stated he'll help me out next date, but then supposedly left the county for good just before. Next DA wasn't reasonable.
2. My lawyer seems to be shaking me
-communications are spotty
-continued case 11 times in the past 9 months with no real progress to show
-has, on live virtual court recordings, admitted to "not having time to speak to the DA yet due to personal issues" (breakup/moving)
-claims she has done 13 hours of work when all of my court cases have been virtual, less than 1hr total on the phone
-now blaming me for all the continuences
-supposedly moved to NM, doesnt seem to have gotten court approval
Night before last date calls and said she can't even talk to me about my case any further until we pay her
Said she'd send an invoice and chat in the morning
No invoice ever came, and in the morning she texted us asking for credit card information. We said we needed the itemized invoice first.
She then called out 1 hour before court due to "being hospitalized again"
-Continually threatens to withdraw over simple things like us demanding better communication and wanting to know what we are paying for.
All I asked for was for her to lower the M to trespass and the probation to unsupervised.
I was clear that ALL I needed was this.
Was $3000 dollars enough for my lawyer to do this in 10 months time?

I have my parts ready to start a new build this weekend. But only thing that I really don't have much of a preference for yet is how to support the GPU. I am going regular ATX, no riser orientation and when I first had to deal with this, went with a Lian Li bracket that has a little tab on it to support the GPU but while it worked fine, I feel like now is a good time to reconsider how to support the GPU.
So what are your experiences and recommendations with different methods for supporting the GPU and keep away the sag?

2025.01.24 20:30 MoonlessNightss New show added to plex only shows up in collection, but doesn't show up as an individual show. If I delete the collection I can no longer find the show except by searching for it in the search bar.

I use the absolute series scanner and the hama agent, mainly because it allows me to put anime movies and tv shows in the same library, but also because it gives nicer metadata.
Anyway, I'm having a problem with adding some movies. Usually, when I add a movie or an anime, I always get a collection containing the show or the movie, as well as the movie itself. I then always delete the collection and I'm left with show/movie.
Note that my library settings for collections is "Show collections and their items".
I tried adding:
Sword art online - ordinal scale
Sword art online progressive (first movie)
Sword art online progressive (second movie)
For some reason, the ordinal scale movie was added in a collection, but it never appeared as a standalone show. I can only get to the show by searching for it using the plex search function or by going into the collection. If I delete the collection I can no longer find it except by searching.
Same thing for the progressive movies, but for the progressive movies that's what I wanted. Since it's two movies that are like a first and a second season, I want them grouped, so I have to use a collection. But usually it shows me the movies themselves, and the collection, and then I go into the collection settings and choose "Hide items in this collection". Now it's using the "default library settings" which is "Show collections and their items" without actually showing the items.
I tried all the settings of the ordinal scale collection and the progressive collection to try hiding the items or showing them or showing both the items and the collection, but nothing changed. It was always just showing the collection without the items.

Coming from a green player, it seems like every set when I'm evaluating card spoilers, blue just gets bomb after bomb after bomb. Green will get a card like 1G - 1/1 - This creature gets a +1/+1 counter once per turn if you meet a specific condition. Meanwhile, blue is getting cards like "Draw infinity cards, take an extra turn after this one, bounce all your opponent's permanents to hand, get infinite mana, get +1/+1 for every card you draw and btw this creature is also unblockable with hexproof." I've been really hopeful set after set, but green just keeps getting duds and blue keeps getting even stronger which is absurd since it's already the strongest color by a large margin.

I feel compelled to post because I am torn in two. I am trying to educate myself in what I can also do to help.
My sister had a kid with her bf in ‘06. He ended up in jail & got out but they never got back together.
His family has all had addiction problems. He comes from a broken home. His father passed away when he was a kid. His grandma’ (whom was his caregiver) passed away too. His mother, his aunt passed away.
His family has been wiped out unfortunately. His step grandpa’ doesn’t want to help him. So he’s been homeless for the past 2 years.
He looks for my other sister (whom is the oldest) once in a while. She’s the only one who helps him out. My mother also helps once in a while.
My sister whom he had a child with doesn’t want anything to do with him & doesn’t help him.
She advices for us to not help him & leave him alone. But it’s not that easy. Specially since she was the one who had a child with him. He was never involved with his son. Who is now an adult.
Idk what to advise because this time he came back looking as if he had mold in his clothes & really bad hygiene.
I feel bad saying that. But my older sister took him in. She has 2 children. She washed his clothes, fed him & gave him couple of days to recover.
He is understanding whenever my sister tells him he has to go. But they’ve (her husband & her) lost days of work to take care of him.
Any advice? Idk how to help Or what to do

The Beastboss will run on his own with Headwoppa’s Killchoppa with a similar plan, as well as just be a big scary distraction. The Warboss and Weirdboy will lead the 20 Boy squad to Da Jump into the enemy backline and cause havoc.
At 1000 pts, would you make any changes to this list? Any strategies I should keep in mind against T'au or T'au units I should watch for or prioritize?

I just purchased this ring from a “Christian art shop,” I am a Christian. I opened the box and see a large Masonic crest on the left side of the ring, and a two headed eagle on the right. The ring itself is a red shield with the Templars cross, along with the words “Signum Militi Templi” surrounding the cross. I am wondering why it has a Masonic crest on it, and a two headed eagle (maybe phoenix)? I purchased the ring because I am a history buff, as well as a Christian. I am aware that’s the Knights Templar eventually went on to contribute to the founding of Freemasonry, but I am also aware that the Knights Templar were accused of heresy, and worshipping baphomet. I have heard as well (from a coworker who wore a 33rd degree lodge ring) that freemasonry at the highest level, is dark lucifereanism. Obviously you can understand as a Christian why I am hesitant to wear this ring. Can anyone ecplain to me if there is any cause of concern, or weight to these thoughts. Why does this ring have both a Masonic crest, and a two headed eagle (occult symbolism?). Any help or answers would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Me (f21) and my fiancé (m22) are getting married this year. Long story short, during me planning the bridal party a friend of mine ghosted me and I left it alone because she keeps to herself and is not the person to initiate conversations etc. With that I had asked her multiple times if she would still be able to be in the wedding. Weeks go by with no response. Then when she does finally respond she says “if you want me to I can” I left it at that because she ghosted me. Fast forward I’m scrambling to find another bridesmaid to replace her that I’m comfortable with and would have a good time with the rest of the bridal party.
Last minute I asked my fiancés youngest sister (I initially didn’t want any siblings because 2 are not old enough to go out to bars and what not and the older sister were not close with). Youngest sister was excited when I asked her. (Made this decision because fiancé wouldn’t say no to his brother not being in the wedding). Now as of yesterday I’m put in an uncomfortable position. Older sister finds out and she’s not happy. We did not intentionally exclude her by any means. It’s just the way things happened. I’m stressed out because I found out through another bridesmaid (fiancés cousin) and I don’t know how to go about talking to her or if I even should.
Should I do anything?
