Regardless of who you voted for, or your views, can we please all remember the industries that took advantage of our state and everyone that lived there? The recent batch of executive orders may create energy jobs, but at what cost? Remember the towns that aren’t on the map anymore, your family members that were used as disposable labor, and our poisoned rivers? We can do better by demanding better. People moved to this state with remote jobs and that is being taken away, resulting in trouble for our state. We don’t need coal back, and we shouldn’t allow those shady businesses back in our state. Just in case anyone forgot…Don Blankenship. With us being a red state this election I believe we should demand those that we put in office put their money where their mouth is and actually fix our state instead of extracting money from us in the guise of helping us. Please remember that, and please remember that we deserve better.

If you tell them "You can pry it from my cold, dead hands.", they attack you. Since you acted in self-defense, rep loss is only minimal.
BUT If you tell them to shove it, AND your fleet is stronger than the agent's fleet, they'll back off... but not before they reduce your reputation with Tri-Tachyon by -75!!!!!!!!!! WHAT???
Yes, that's right, the crime of keeping the Ziggurat (and poor diplomacy) is WORSE than saturation bombarding the Tri-Tachyon capital.

2025.01.24 20:42 Ok_Focus_7268 Complicated issue with sims, chats, and phones 😅🥲

I walked into water with my phone in my pocket (I was running after my kid), and my Android is totally defunct. I decided to switch to iPhone for various reasons, but now have a few issues:
I use 2 sims, luckily they seem not damaged from the water submersion, but one is international and one is Google Fi. My WhatsApp is tied to my international sim (it's a Hong Kong carrier). My Google Fi is for data in US.
My WhatsApp backed up nightly to my Google Drive, so I thought when I reinstalled the sim and WhatsApp on a temporary device, they would appear but they still haven't yet and it's been about 3 days. Is there any way to retrieve my messages without going to Hong Kong (where I think eSims aren't even allowed anymore 😩) I use WhatsApp heavily for work and it has already been pretty painful not to have access to any past messages or media.
Any help would be appreciated!

2025.01.24 20:42 Kaspbrak Help with resetting resolution and refresh rate with MoonDeck

So, I have sunshine running on my PC, with MoonDeckBuddy and MoonDeckStream. Before using MoonDeck, using only sunshine, after I closed the game/big picture, the resolution and refresh rate of my monitor went back to normal. But this doesn't happen with MoonDeckStream. Also MoonDeckStream wasn't closing big picture by default, I had to add a "steam://close/bigpicture" command. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it's been surprisingly hard to find documentation online for this.
Another thing is when I use steam remote play, it changes my monitor resolution and refresh rate, and when it closes and returns those to normal, it doesn't resize any of the open applications in my desktop. Sunshine did, even when the automatic resizing was working. Is there any way to make it not resize my applications too?
Appreciate any help!

Hello,
We are moving to Maple valley next week, with a 2- and 5-year old. I am looking at daycare and preschool options in the area. My 5-year old has had developmental issues related to speech and attention. He is not diagnosed with anything yet, and has a normal IQ, but he has been getting support sessions (speech therapy, skill development, and OT) since he turned one. Right now his needs are mostly around improving attention and working on preacademic skills (number sense, and phonics). So ideally I would like a place that has experience with dealing with special needs, or can support us in finding the right plan for him.

I bought an IPad Pro, NEW IN BOX, almost 2 years ago. About 8 months ago when doing a software upgrade a business took control of the iPad. It appears to be a Medical Insurance Company.
Best I can tell, is the Medical Insurance Company bought a bunch of iPads, had their software installed, distributed said iPads to employees / had someone take the extra iPads to a pawnshop to sell. I bought one of these “New In Box” iPads from a pawnshop on eBay.
I spoke with Apple, trying to get my iPad back, but due to medical company software on the iPad, Apple can’t do anything. I spoke with someone at the Medical Insurance Companies IT department and they can’t / won’t help. I spoke with someone at eBay and they said to do a police report. They also said to contact the seller. The seller is giving me crickets…. So, I did the police report and eBay just kind of sits there like “wow, we didn’t think you’d do a police report”. Now eBay says they can not help me.
Does anybody have any advice on how I can get my money back, since this is basically stolen from me?
