Hello all! I am a person with at least one medical problem and multiple specialists I see. One of these is a neurologist for narcolepsy II. I have been following up with him for weeks over the phone trying to get my prescription for a specialty pharmacy sent in, to no avail.
My parents have told me to just cancel my appointments with him and schedule one with a new neurologist, but this seems wrong to me. When I tell them that, they brush me off. What about my record between the doctor and the insurance and the pharmacy? Do I have to let my insurance and the pharmacy know? Do I have to tell the Neurologist? Do I have to see another Neurologist and have them do all of that?
Sorry, I hope this is an ok place for this question, everyone is making me feel stupid about it. Any advice or answers will help a ton, thanks!!!
