Hello all, I wanted to provide an update on my symptoms I’ve been experiencing since June 2024 to both get my feelings off my chest and maybe help someone else who is going through something similar. I’ve posted before about symptoms I’ve been experiencing since June that started with a twitch in my eye which subsequently spread to my thigh, then body wide. Twitching most often happens at rest for me. I’ve experienced numerous other transient symptoms since June including perceived weakness in legs, tingling/burning feet, fatigue, pain behind me eye (left side), eye floaters and blurriness that lasts seconds, perceived sensory changes around my mouth and cheek on the left side, sharp transient rib pain and rib pressure to name the most significant symptoms. All of my symptoms are temporary and never last more than 24 hours. Everyday looks different for me and I never know what to expect. I have good days with hardly any symptoms and some days I just want to lay on the couch. I’ve also attempted to determine if I have any triggers like heat or stress but it doesn’t seem like it. Yesterday I had my first neurologist appointment and had an EMG and a full neurological assessment. My neurologist was confident my symptoms were benign. MS has been running through my mind now for months and I would feel much better getting an MRI, however, I do trust my neurologist and her reassurance is comforting after many months of uncertainty and fear. Anyways, to anyone fearing the worst, I hear you, I support you, and I know what it’s like to live with uncertainty for so long. I’m optimistic for the best news for us all.

So I understand an early withdrawal from a 401k is taxable income, and subject to an additional 10% penalty... but is that 10% amount also count as taxable income? I had an excel spreadsheet set up to estimate my taxes and now that I'm doing them in TurboTax I'm off by more than I would expect... still doesn't match up perfectly, but I get to a ~$155 difference between my estimate and what TurboTax is estimating if I assume I have to pay taxes on the dollar amount that the 10% penalty is.

Does micro center seriously let individuals just buy as many high value graphics cards as they want or can at release? Does eBay really not have rules when it comes to this?  | This was my first tattoo, and I knew wanted the line wrapping around, but the squiggly line was very spur of the moment. Still love the line, but the squiggle has to change. I don't like the way it looks when I rotate my palm down. Any ideas on what cover up could look fine with this placement?  | A month before Christmas when I still had a pixel 6, chrome came out with a new feature which at first I wasn't too fond of, but then realised was quite handy. I use only one window, and over the course of telling myself "I'll need this one day", have racked up tabs into the four digits - a lot of them grouped. The feature in question was a button that popped up next to the new tab button, and looked like four stacked squares - it was a shortcut and showed me all my groups, and only groups making it so much easier to navigate through my mess. Nobody from my pixel exclusive family had that option, nor could I find much about it online. Fast forward to after Christmas and I'd upgraded to a 9 proXL, but this shortcut to my groups is gone? I recently got back into collecting. Hockey mostly. I’ve always been a base set guy. Buy a few boxes and complete the set. Give the dupes to someone and depending on the insert keep or sell it. What is the best bang for bass set collecting? It seems like the tins for flagship are the way to go but the collation is horrible. Allure and some of the others seems like a complete crap shoot where you have to spend hundreds to get even close to a full base set minus rookies.

2025.01.24 21:20 Former_Name_5938 Hi. My Introduction and positive bipolar story for you all.
I’ve spent about a year lurking on the thread. I’ve posted in the past (manic) and deleted my account due to embarrassment of it.
I log in a couple times a day and read everyone’s stories and questions. I notice there are many who respond with great advice and many are struggling. I wanted to just throw out my story for some positivity hoping someone can read it and it will help them.
I was not diagnosed as bipolar until I was 41. I have fumbled and failed and suffered greatly and have been through the gamut.
My diagnosis came after a severe mixed episode at 41 that landed me in the hospital. I had been struggling for months and months with depression and was put on an ssri. In all honestly the following month was a total blur but I can tell you it resolved with police, hospitals and my loving family staring at me like WTAF is wrong with her.
I drank heavily and my mind was absolutely out of control. If I didn’t sleep for a few days I’d then sleep for 15 hours for a week and then rinse wash repeat. I was in counseling (how it was missed I don’t know) I did rehab (which I highly recommended to anyone with bipolar struggling with addiction (and many may be surprised to learn how incredibly common it is). For me I had been self medicating myself for since I was 17.
I don’t wanna go into my life story. But there are some details that I am proud of and the greatest of these is that I kept trying to get the help I needed, it just took a while… a long while. But I finally got there.
I am regularly medicated now and my life today would have been unimaginable to me not even that long ago. I have hope and stability (and it isn’t the “wow I’m a genius” or “I just solved the riddles of the universe” type). It’s true happiness and is calm and consistent. I would never be here without medication and all the people that I reached out to and that stuck with me.
I see the younger folks on here struggling and I want them to stick with it. Stay in counseling, keep looking for answers and follow the psychiatrist recommendations. Some will suck, they won’t all have the right answers for you or you may not be in a place to hear the advice but KEEP TRYING.
I am now 43 years old and I finally for the first time since I was about 20 found peace. Keep in mind. I never even received care until I was 38 and no diagnosis til 41.
