Hi, I need to get my catâs rabies vaccine updated in order to get her licensed in the city Iâm moving to. However, she is an absolute terror at the vet (hissing and scratching the least of it), which is why I havenât gotten her vaccines updated in a few years. I called the vet and since itâs been a while, they wonât prescribe her calming medication without seeing her first. Does anyone have experience giving their cat a calming treat that actually mellowed them out in a significant way?
On a related note, has anyone in the New Jersey area ever used the vet services where they come to your house? If so, what company did you use and would you recommend them? She doesnât like other people but I wonder if at least being at home would help her to be a bit more calm.
Any thoughts appreciated! Thank you.

Have always ridden defy and have it fairly slammed, have always wanted a tcr but heard they can be harsh and twitchy on descents. I do a lot of climbing and biggest ride I normally do is around 130 km . Is a TCR really much better at climbing. Yesterday I wrote about building a pyramid of great new activities which will greatly assist you. But, the challenge is remembering to do them. You can try sticky notes on your mirror, phone alarms, accountability partners, notes on your desk or calendar. You can develop codes so that the whole world does not know what is going on: While working I wrote TAFS a zillion times, it means â Turn aggressively from sin.
When building your pyramid the base must be solid. Firstly, how to have a weak base.
You join 3 softball teams because you are going to be active so that you can quit. But... say you do that but you ignore working on turning aggressively from thoughts of _____. This is why it is so wise to follow this daily process:
Repent fully, then pray: âFather, show me what to do.â
Joining 3 softball teams is a good idea. But doing that plus reminding yourself to turn every inning is a great idea (I often prayed, âFather help me to turn aggressively from sin,â 20-25 times daily when I was tempted). With that addition, now you are building your base (Turning from bad thoughts) and building upwards in your pyramid.
Secondly, pray the âShow meâ prayer because I don't know your past or present. God does. Over time He wants to give you special help for your special situation.
Thirdly, there is power in âTo Do.â Doing everything we know to quit, then asking the Almighty what He wants you to do to quit = increased power. Asking the Almighty what He wants you to do in life = increased power. Turning aggressively from sin = increased power in your life.
Lastly, consider reading quitting articles every day with a piece of paper with a triangle on it. Write âDaily Habitsâ at the bottom of the triangle. As you study, put in vital information close to the base of your pyramid.
Over the next 30 days, see if you can âDoâ the vital daily habits from the base of your pyramid every day.

Wanted to start yesterday, but RX only came today,. Hereâs the thing. My eating today was meh, I had a Vega protein shake and 2 leg quarters approx 6 oz of chicken. I really want to take my shot tonight then after gradually change it to Thursday.
Iâm all prepared for side effects but whatever I can do to minimize them, Iâd like to. Any thoughts or suggestions for taking it tonight?
