Context: I flew EWR - SFO on 12/31 with my family of four. We were waitlisted for Plus Points upgrades (Premium Plus and Polaris). Just prior to boarding, two of us were upgraded to Premium Plus, and two of us were upgraded to Polaris. At the time, I assumed that I’d see Plus Points deducted after the flight, but that didn’t happen.
Question: Does this mean that we received CPUs despite being having requested Plus Points upgrades? And if so, what is the logic for determining which type of upgrade will occur?
This was my first time attempting to use Plus Points, so just trying to figure out if this is typical.

My accounts (more than one) on my phone all got banned. I opened a new account on my iPad and had about three completed transactions before that account got banned aswell. I like aliexpress and I enjoy buying stuff that I want on it. Is there any way to avoid getting banned?? They never let me appeal the bans and just said that I was a safety concern.

Is that in comparing current anti-AI arguments to arguments about past technological breakthroughs (with the flavor of 'that's what they said about [insert technology here]) is that they assume the arguments are meritless just because new technology inevitably becomes generally accepted. A few examples:
- Excess television does reduce the amount of reading we do (impacting both reading ability and imagination).
- The internet does make it easier (and further removes someone from the consequences) to harass someone online than it is in person (the mental toll this takes on the victims is enormous)
- Social media does have us buried in our smartphones so much that we engage with each other less in person. (Leading to less meaningful connections)
AI is not going anywhere, it has already started to become a ubiquitous part of our lives like the internet has and it, like technological breakthroughs before it, has incalculable benefits but the downsides of technology that, taken separately are far outweighed by the benefits, can be cumulative and should be actively addressed.

She applied for citizenship in the fall and has been waiting four months without hearing anything back. playin dayz walking around a town looking for ammo and i thought saw movement in a window of a house across the street. so im walking up to the house and a zombie on the front porch charges me. I shot it but since it was sitting on the porch i knew there WAS someone in the house. as i get to the front door, a blonde guy popped out and started trying to punch me. i ran out of the house and pulled out my mp5 and shot at him with a couple bursts, one or two bullets but i think. then the smg jammed and i ran into the house and i pulled out my shotgun (loaded with slugs), he was chasing me and i managed to land THREE SHITGUN SHOTS ON HIM (i saw the blood spatter so ik i hit him 3 times.) But he didn’t die. then i started getting attacked by a zombie so i ran back outside and away from the guy to kill the zombie. after i killed it. i went back to the house where we were fighting and he was just standing in the door way bleeding out. we were standing there just looking at eachother (i had my shotgun aimed at him) but we were just standing still staring at eachother for like 5 seconds. at this point i went on the mic and said bro how the fuck are you not dead and he responded and was like dude i have no idea i was wondering the same thing and we both started laughing. he asked if i’d kill him because he ran out of bandages and was dying from blood loss. i took out my pistol to give him the mercy kill but literally as i aimed my reticle on his head he died from the blood loss lmfao. That was a crazy encounter. I love Dayz.
