Luko stood within the corridor, stepping back and forth in anticipation. The respirator chamber had been breached a few days before, and the assailants had infiltrated every part of the vessel. They moved among them, killing indiscriminately as they went. He and his comrades were helpless against the sudden attack, and so drastic measures were required.
They had shut off the cooling of the vessel, hoping to flush the intruders out from whatever hiding places they had found for themselves. They had brought in foreign reinforcements, robotic men who patrolled their streets and slowly exited. The head command said the men had better weapons, had been trained in new methods, but none of them stopped the assailants.

So the vanguard would be responsible now. But the lockdown did not speak of an end date. They couldn’t survive forever if the entries and exits were closed down. The head command had been less active the past few days, and he had hoped it was a sign of things getting better. There were directives to head to different areas, they seemed to know new things about the intruders day after day.
But this, this was a bad decision.
They had authorized lethal force, but that force would work against everyone and everything within the vessel. It would be the end of them all.

“There isn’t any hope?” the nurse asked.
The doctor shook her head. “The bacteria is an antibiotic resistant strain. His immune system wasn’t strong enough to fight back and the strain of bacteria… we tried everything. His body and brain both shut down sometime in the middle of it.”

Hello everyone, I apologise for my english since it's not my first language. Okay, so I've had scoliosis since my late childhood, they discovered it when I was 12 and it was already pretty balanced. I had a 36 curve in my lumbar and a 40-ish curve around my chest. My spine looks like an S, if that helps. I had no back pain, I just got tired quickly. They told me to wear an orthopedic corset, which I did for 2/3 years or so until I stopped growing up. Despite being a child, I understood the gravity of the situation and I was extremely strict with my treatment, I wore my corset 22/7, only taking it off for showering and sometimes eating. My traumatologist was very Very helpful and kind with me, she helped me in every aspect of the process and I am truly thankful for that. She told me that, since I was so strict with my corset until the very end, my scoliosis wouldn't worsen. She also said I wouldn't actually need surgery and that my quality of life would be good later on.
Now I'm starting to feel actual discomfort, and sometimes true pain. I'm getting anxious already only by writing about it, so you guys can imagine how I am right now. The pain unexpectedly started to get worse this month, and I went for the first time (yeah I know) to a physiotherapist. I finished my appointment kind of relieved, but the pain came back. It isn't worse, but it also isn't better.
I moved from my hometown this year and since I'm from Spain I get free healthcare. I recently registered myself into the health system (idk how to translate it sorry lol) in the place I live in now, and I already booked an appointment with my new doctor so they can assign me a new traumatologist here to check up on me every time I need.
I have many questions. Did I fuck up by going to a physiotherapist by myself? Should I actually get The Surgery? Should I wear a corset again? I don't know. I'm feeling very hopeless to be honest. All I can think about is: "if I'm in mild pain now at 23, how much worse can it get later on?" I am so afraid of this. I really want to cry. I feel like I'm going to need a wheelchair or something when I'm old and the pain is unbearable. I'm a very active person and the possibility of Not Being Able To Move due to pain is truly disheartening to me. Can you guys give me advice? Or something? Sorry if this text is all over the place but I'm really anxious and literally no one in my life can relate to me in this matter. I'm the only person I know with scoliosis. Help lol

 | My Ls430 was stolen out of my driveway about 2 weeks ago, got a message a week later from an apartment property manager letting me know he found my car with the purchase agreement inside. Everything stolen, car sat on spare wheel, wheels gone, battery used as jack stand. Car was drug out by the tow company on the brake rotors and is now totaled. With the introduction of the merge mission in the events it would be nice if we got an option to deselect every merge possible when we like to merge a single module.
Several times i have experienced wanting to merge one set of epic modules, only to see i forgot to deselect 10-20 other more rare merges.
