The Hendersons were the reason. They had checked into Room 6 one quiet evening—a family of three, the typical road-weary travelers. By morning, they were gone. Their car sat in the parking lot, their bags still in the trunk, but the room was empty. No sign of them. Not even a note. The motel stayed quiet for years after that, but the stories didn’t fade. Staff and guests began hearing whispers from behind the walls. A murmur in the dark. A voice calling out. But when they’d search, no one was ever there. Then came Colin. A journalist on the hunt for an urban legend. He was skeptical, a man of reason. When he heard about Room 6, he demanded to stay there, certain it was all just a tale.
“Are you sure about this?” Marla asked him as she handed him the key.
“I’m sure,” Colin said, eager to prove the story wrong. That night, he set up his camera and notebook in the center of the room, documenting the silence, making jokes about how creepy it felt. But as the clock neared 3:00 AM, the air grew heavy, and the whispers started.
At first, they were soft, like wind through cracks. Then louder. Urgent. Desperate.
“Leave,” the voice hissed.
Colin froze, his heart pounding. He grabbed his camera, recording as he asked, “Who’s there? What do you want?” But the whispers stopped. The silence was overwhelming.
He turned toward the closet as the door creaked open on its own. The space inside was empty, but when he turned back to the bed, his blood ran cold.

Colin backed away, his breath shallow, but the figure didn’t follow. The whispers returned, louder this time, drowning out his thoughts.
The next morning, Room 6 was empty again. Colin’s car was parked outside, his equipment packed neatly. But his notebook lay open on the bed with one final, chilling line: “I see them. They never left.”

Earlier this week I bought CVS brand pseudoephedrine behind the counter at a target CVS for my parents as they are sick. I had my ID scanned and I was wondering if I would be able to buy a second pack to keep at my house. I don’t know why at the time I didn’t think about buying a second pack to keep for myself.
I don’t know if it would look suspicious. I don’t do drugs i promise. I’m just trying to build a medicine cabinet for myself 😭.

Sweet food tastes bad. It leaves a gross aftertaste, and if you eat something after sweet food, it ruins everything and tastes disgusting.
Additionally, if you have any dental issues, even minor ones, consuming sweet foods can turn into a painful torture. Well, not to deny - it's a good reminder that you need to go to the dentist. Still tortute. thought.
I didn't include the bitter flavor because its purpose is to be unpleasant to taste. I'm not here to fight the king.
