Hey,
My iems are making a pop sound whenever for example I play or pause a video. Or also when someone starts/stops talking while being on a discord call. I´m using mangird xenns top with a fiio ka17 dongle.
So if I've understood correctly its the KA17 engaging and disengaging the amp circuit to safe power. Switching on/off depending if there's a signal or not.
Is this correct? Is there a way to fix this?

2025.01.24 21:21 CAHthrowaway1000 Drug bust in California Zephyr #6 this morning.
My throwaway account since we need to travel home on the train tomorrow.
I prefer to take sleepers, but unfortunately my rewards points only stretched to a roomette on the way to Denver for me and my husband. On the way back to Chicago, we had to go coach, but I asked for the lower level when booking (still with points). I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a tiny, tiny car with only 3 other people on it and no kids.
It was a nice peaceful evening, absolute silence. One young dude, maybe 20 was across from us, and an older guy, maybe late 40s-50s was directly in front of us. We had the last seat, in front of a baggage area. The young kid slept a lot, and when the older guy fell asleep, he snored horribly. Luckily the noise woke him up each time.
Anyway, dozed off around 1am, and kind of woke up in Omaha (I think) when the young kid opened the door to the car. I figured it was a fresh air break, but some guy, dressed really casually, kind of blocked him and started asking casual questions about if he was travelling by himself and if he paid for his ticket himself. He then walked to right by our seats, and another casually dressed guy came in and asked if he had any drugs on him (dude said a vape in his pocket) and asked to search his luggage (refused).
They told him weed was illegal in Nebraska, and opened his luggage anyway. He had 3 or 4 large boxes of Playdoh, which looked sealed, but one dude looked at them and said "Powder" twice. The other said, "Not weed?", and the one going through the suitcase said, 'Powder". Young dude was arrested and hustled off the train.
During all this the older guy wasn't in his seat, but when he came back to the car (no clue where he was), they handcuffed him, said they were going to detain him, but didn't give a reason. The plainclothes dude by us glanced at us, said "Good morning!" And left the car. Immediately a family with a very noisy, talkative toddler came in, the train took off, and peace was ruined, sigh.
My husband was freaking out inside because we had bought a few edibles in Denver but I texted him not to talk about it until we were off the train. We're off safely with no other incidents and heading home tomorrow. Shouldn't be an issue.
Fun times. I wonder how they knew these people had several kilos of the scary drugs on them. I also wonder if the 2nd guy was really arrested or if he was working with them as a narc in some way. His arrest was not convincing at all, they didn't search him, and he had no luggage.
Only sleepers for us from now on!

I am looking at buying a house near bromley south station. I have just been looking at the connections into London Bridge and I am a bit confused about whether there are normally direct trains from bromley south. Can anyone advise?
When I look on trainline there appear to be direct trains running this weekend ending at cannon Street but weirdly they don't seek to run any other weekend.

I apologize if this is off topic. For people who are working on expanding their vocabulary, I mean it's probably best suited for more advanced levels, after B2, since these games were originally made with native speakers in mind. Find-a-word games, usually found on yandex, aimed at elderly retired folks, I know it sounds boring, but it can be made into an educational tool. And then, it's actually an unending source of lolz when you make nonsensical words.
This post is inspired by the accidental making of "жрало", "нежрало", "мешог" with a г and "нарожай" where "урожай" was intended. Imo it makes a story (attached in comments for everyone's enjoyment)
Acronyms aren't counted as words, still when you make ГРУ, АПЛ and God knows what else, it's another source of lolz. Not linking any specific game, there's hundreds of this type, just recommending a genre

Listen, I never want to say one person is more or less qualified because of something they can't change. But I have a decent amount of health issues and a decently sized care team. In my experience, it's always men who have dismissed me, missed diagnoses, or just not listened and I don't want that anymore. I'm only 24, I have my whole life and I won't get healthier. I have to deal with what I have. And I just don't want any more male physicians on my team. Is that wrong?

Hey guys this issue has been happening for about a week and a half now but if I play rainbow six siege my pc will randomly restart. I’ve checked everything to see if something was stressing my pc and I haven’t seen anything. But I’ve looked to see if anybody is having issue with the same thing and someone mention the new driver update nvidia came out with. Would this be a cause in my problem?

I’ve been knitting for an embarrassingly long time to not know this already, BUT what are you supposed to do with yarn you’ve swatched then blocked? I assume you can’t reuse it because it wouldn’t behave the same way as the unblocked yarn in a pattern. Can you wash/unblock in some way?
