The 10 and 8-inch saws are still available as tool-only, but in their infinite wisdom it seems Makita only offers the 12-inch in kit form (GSL04M1) with the 4Ah battery. Why would they do this? I don't need another charger or 4Ah batt but I'm also not ready to buy. Welcome to our latest fortnightly Narita(verse) Friday thread! Here, you can discuss Durarara!!, Vamp!, Etsusa Bridge, and Wednesdays Smiling with Otsuberu, the four other works by Ryohgo Narita that share a universe with Baccano!—i.e. the Naritaverse.
Per early thread feedback, you may also discuss Narita's works that aren't set in the Naritaverse (e.g. DMDP, Stealth Symphony, Hariyama-san, Center of the World, et cetera). Suffice it to say, many don't have dedicated subreddits or discussion spaces of their own. Some likely never will.
As biweekly threads, Naritaverse Fridays are active throughout the entire fortnight duration at minimum. Participation, in other words, isn't limited to Fridays! On that note, thank you for participating! Meta feedback on Narita(verse) Fridays is always welcome.
Threads are posted at 6 PM EST.

For the sake of navigation and convenience, please also preface your comments with something like the following template:

I've never been able to get into vampire fiction for xyz reasons. I do love Narita, though, so can anyone convince me to give Vamp! a chance?

So I have tried Total War, since it's what fits the best, but I still find the combat to not be amazing, sometimes it can have wonky mechanics with bad AI. I'm more looking for a more competetive game, with focus on commanding the battles.
Does such a game exist?

I made a post a couple of days ago about the final boss fight in the base game against The End complaining about how badly it was done and that it was beyond disappointing. And I have to say after beating "Another Story" just now it fixed everything about that boss, it's still got some of that classic sonic jank that we all know but it is a spectacle that's for sure. And it's awesome. I would go out and say if you aren't a completionist and just want a good sonic game with a good story, just play "Another Story" Don't bother with the base game at all because it just doesn't compare to that Final Horizon which is better in every single way possible imo. But yea I shat on the ending of the base game and had to come back to say the Final Horizon fully redeemed it in every way, frustratingly hard as it may be.
