So a while ago, I came back from 1 week vacation and my monitor was just black. It'd turn on and the display would seemingly die. I looked online, and other people had the same issue.
Eventually I fixed it by figuring out how to change to 120 Hz (from 240) by blindly messing with the menu settings, eventually I could see my menu settings and I think I just reset to default in the menu.
I've been afraid of going to 240 Hz for a while now. I tried it again the past few days, and it happened again, the screen went black. So I had to reset my settings again.
Is there a fix for this? I'm quite sure I'm using the right power cable, plugged into its own outlet. I also blindly updated the firmware with a flash drive on my first attempts to fix it.

2025.01.24 23:20 AnneFrank121 Stop leak and RTV don't make for a happy customer, always get a good inspection done before purchasing a vehicle.
 | Customer just purchased this G05 B58 from a Chevy dealer , was not a as is sell but a fully "inspected" and "certified" sell. Customer was driving it back home and it started to over heat right away. Customer came to my dealer. Saw what looked like RTV on bottom of water pump weep hole, and almost rust coming out of it. Drained coolant and immediately could smell stop leak. Bottom of reservoir coated in stop leak, removed water pump and found more stop leak. Also it discolored the entirety of inside of engine block, if you have ever done a B58 water pump , they are usually always shiny and about the same color on the inside of engine block as outside. I think the hardest is always starting and I narrowed down from several ideas that I feel would be useful and have demand. I have asked friends and family but I want to expand to strangers and others for critique and criticism. I also want to find network of people good in certain skills that also believe in said idea and come together as cofounder to bring this idea to real life.
marketing, making the product, designing and all of that can come later I suppose. Advice?

I was put on a PIP a month ago, I work as a cloud engineer for some context and from Toronto. I basically got a first written warning which was performance related and that was quite an eye opener for me. I started working more harder and closing my projects on time. 2 days ago i had another meeting with the higher up’s and was grilled again on some mistakes made on the projects that closed up. I did highlight to them that I did put in the work and wanted to show the team that I could be an asset. That however followed up with a second written warning and I felt it to be a bit unfair even if I made some mistakes. I am just wondering is there even a point of thinking I will be safe if I kept working hard or this is just formal steps to dismiss me soon? I really need some guidance on this as I have already started looking for jobs.

In volume 7, Shiratama is openly flirting with Nukumizu, and getting under Kaju's skin. Kaju deliberately pours the steaming tea into Nukumizu's cup from a greater height than usual.
When Kazuhiko picks up his tea to drink, it is cold.
Ok, what just happened? Did Kaju cast a spell? No, not really. But she did reveal a secret to Shiratama, because she lost her temper.
What is the secret? Kazuhiko sometimes has absence seizures. These can occur spontaneously, or they can be triggered under the right conditions. (Seven Seas is hard at work minimizing this, or even eliminating this theme completely. I feel this is a mistake, because it leads to rewriting the author's work completely just to produce a bland typical romcom.)
Any, since Kaju is mad at Shiratama and Kazuhiko, she deliberately induces a seizure in her onni-sama. By pouring the tea from a greater height, the stream of tea sparkles as it catches the light. As she knew it would, this causes Kazuhiko to lose time, for perhaps 10 minutes. When he comes to, his cup of tea is cold.
Kaju uses those 10 minutes to read the riot act to Shiratama, without Kazuhiko being aware of it.
What angry Kaju has done is bad for two reasons. Deliberately giving your brother an absence seizure is very wrong, I don't care how angry he made you.
What's worse is that Shiratama saw the whole thing. And she is smart enough to figure out what Kaju did. Of course the outlaw girl is going to use this in the future when she is alone with Kazuhiko.
A similar thing occurred when Kazuhiko met Basori for the first time. She is wearing a name tag, its probably a card held in a plastic holder. As he looked at it, it caught the light just right, and Kazuhiko froze in place, essentially staring at Basori 's flat chest for too long. She gets flustered, (whats with this perverted guy?). He comes to, and realizing what's happened, says "it's a misunderstanding".
In volume 6 after their race, Lemon throws an oxygen canister to Nukkun. Either because it reflected the light or the stress of the race, Nukkun enters a trance. Since he can no longer see or catch it, the oxygen slips through his unmoving fingers and strikes his forehead. He falls down and his absence seizure continues, making Anna, Komari, and Lemon frantic. (This is even though they've been briefed by Kaju about his condition before now. Its the difference between knowing something abstractly and actually seeing it happen in front of you, to a person you care for.)
Kazuhiko genuinely likes reading light novels, but they can also be used to conceal absence seizures. Usually no one will notice if he stares down at a page for too long. Classmates who tried to talk to him during those times would jump to the conclusion that he is just ignoring them, giving rise to his poor reputation with the rest of his class, and leading to having no friends.
(By now the drugs given to Kazuhiko by Kaju and nurse Konuki should be self explanatory. Anyone who tells you those drugs are for some nefarious purpose is trolling you.)

Last month I came across a post here about a gardening kit that comes with a bunch of uncommon seeds and a book with recipes for herbal remedies that can be made from the plants. I thought it'd make a cool addition to my garden this year and the fact that it's made by Nicole who was on season 2 and 4 of the show Alone sold me even further because I love that show.
I can't find the original post but I want to thank them for sharing and tell anyone who was on the fence to go for it. I've planted everything so I'll share updates and photos of my garden as it grows in the comments of this post. The book written by Nicole goes over everything you can make with the plants from ointments and teas all the way to essential oils and infusions. These plants are not something you'd find in a normal store so they make for a unique addition to your garden.

About 10 to 15 years ago whenever something used to break down the mechanics would fix it in one go be it a scooter or a car today but now is not the case. Also many companies intentionally makes the product of poor quality that they are going to be damaged in only some time after purchasing them and neither they have service centre officially and they doesn't use genuine parts too

I am in grade 12 IB Chemistry. Last year I ended the year off with a 73, or an IB level 4 out of 7 which is pretty bad. This year I got up to an 84 in my midterm(end of ffirsy term of the semester), but it was on units like rates, thermochemistry etc. I got 5 and 6 on those while studying hard but I did Acids/bases and redox and GOT A 2 ON BOTH OF THEM. I am not usually the type to get to sad about this, so I just told myself I would lock in for Organic chem BUT I GOT a 3 on short answer and a 5 on multiple choice.
Does anyone have any advice?! I have a tutor and I study hard and smart but I feel really dumb and I need these grades for uni. I think even my 84 is going to go down too :((( like, I do well in multiple choice which sort of I think exemplifies my understanding because it’s like, you either know it or you don’t. However my short answer part of the test/calculations etc is way worse :( I don’t know what to do

Using a Crealty Ender3 V3 Plus
My bottom layers have started getting chunky lately, and im not sure why. For the pictured print, running Polymaker petg at 242° C. Filament is going straight from a dryer to the printer in the same enclosure. Ive run recalibration multiple times.
There is also some stringiness happening on upper layers.
I will post print settings momentarily
