I took an undergraduate class in quantum mechanics last semester — it was pretty basic, we did particle in a box, free particles, bounded potentials, and the simple harmonic oscillator. I heard that a lot of chemistry comes directly from QM, and I was wondering how does one come up with all these properties of molecules (like organic chemistry rules, Lewis structure, orbitals, etc) from QM
I tried reading Sakurai’s QM book to see if I could find anything; but I’m still struggling to find resources that explain this.

I don't know if it was the home screen or the CD, but it had a group of very peculiar characters (similar to an anime), the game consisted of you sailing through the sea in an apparent open world seen from above (I never got to explore much so I don't know if that world was very big or if it had divisions), when you defeated another ship that was better you kept them (or at least I remember that the same ship became the one I controlled) and an important event was the "Ghost Ship" that always defeated me so I never really advanced, I have no memory of whether there was a story, since it was only limited to entering, exploring, looking for large ships, and at some point the "Ghost Ship" defeated to return to the starting point.
(It's possible that the CD packaging was just a random thing where the game came from and the anime-like characters were from one that I don't have many memories of, but I know it wasn't something that aired on TV back then and I'm confusing my memories into thinking the characters were on the opening screen before starting the game.)

Im a big WWE fan who has returned to the product after watching it on and off for a while. Life got in the way and I lost touch with WWE during covid but am glad that I found that passion again. In fact, I'll be going to watch the royal rumble next week!
Something I have never been able to explain or fully grasp myself is why I love it so much lol. People always say why do you watch it if it's not a real fight and predetermined but I always try to explain that I don't ever know the predetermined result and I act as if it's real. I think when I watch WWE, I fully immerse myself in the storylines and fights. It's like a portion of my brain turns off the "realism" aspect and I just enjoy the entertaintment.
I would love to know what you all think too. I appreciate WWE even more now as an adult

This range of products has been so frustrating.
- The connectivity range on these devices seems so incredibly poor. I have a gen 2 probe that’s in my cooker about 20 feet from the wifi display. That is now holding a connection at least since the latest firm ware update. If I take that display two rooms further into the house, connection is gone. I also have a gen 1 display. If I turn that on as well, the connection two rooms further into the house is still lost. Is the wifi display not supposed to repeat the signal to the second display? Why is the connection lost in such a short period of time? I don’t have Bluetooth issues like this with any other devices. My headphones can work without my phone across the whole house.
- The reason I need the display is for the alarm during overnight cooks. The wifi display is correctly connecting to wifi, so I have the temp on phone throughout the house. But for some reason you have decided to turn off the alarm sound when my phone is silenced. Why? The apple timer and alarm can be set to bypass the silence, why cannot you not develop this to do the same? I don’t want all notifications to make noise when I’m sleeping, but I want the app alarm to sound if I reach my target temp. It's an alarm, its entire purpose is alert me and this can't do that without my phone blowing up with noise all night long.
- On the lock screen widget, why is the core temp not displayed in larger font in the gigantic empty space on the top line between the target temp and the progress percentage?
- On the lock screen, why is the core temp font in a dark blue color against a dark grey background. Just zero contrast. I’m not even color blind, I can’t imagine how people who are can read the lock screen easily.
- I’ve done a number of long cooks and this hasn’t happened before, but today, I put a brisket on my cooker and set the target temp to 160. The prediction model decided it would be done in like 30 minutes, when it met the time, it just switched the target time to 0, even though the core temp was like 60 degrees and the target was 160. I bumped up the target temp to get a new prediction which seems to be working better now. What would have happened if I just let it go? Would the alarm have gone off when the core hit the target?
- Why can I not rename the CPTs and displays so I know which is which in the app? I have a set of version 1 and version 2.
